2. It had my favourite batman villains the joker and harvey dent(two face)
3. The stunts were more grounded they weren't riding bikes on statues or turning batman's cape into stone and all that
4. It was realistic in the sense that both bruce wayne and batman had equal running time. And it made batman more like a vigilante which he is really rather than a hero like the cartoons make him out as, he was tackling gangsters and not ice mutants
5. It wasn't fake like they toned down on the gadgets and the gadgets which were available were things we could relate to.
6.The joker character had depth and I finally understood why he does what he does and in the end he won which was cool and fresh

The dark knight rises I hated so much becos
1. It was so unnecessarily long
2. It paid no attention to character development. Could you believe that the movie had deadshot in it but we never knew he was there becos he showed up just once
3. They brought back the stoopid gadgets which were very irritating I mean are we supposed to believe he hides a plane in his tiny house
4. It was really unrealistic like why would the u.s military not just send a SEAL team to take out bane afterall gotham is american soil right? Instead they blew up a bridge signifying gothams separation from U.S and that's just the only unrealistic point I'm bringing up I'm not even going to focus on the ridiculous trapping policemen underground and judge scarecrow
5. It was really fake as bruce wayne trusted a stranger entirely with such a dangerous weapon
6.It paid no attention to the important details like how bruce returned to gotham from southafrica when he had no money, no passport and nobody to contact are we supposed to assume he swam there
7. The only special thing about bane was just his accent, everything else was just unclear what was his mission, why did his men fear him so much,was he going to die with them in gotham? I guess we are to figure that on our own
8. What kind of ending was that a nuclear bomb detonated under batman's aircraft even if batman was some kind of miracle worker to survive the blast, what about the radiation from the blast? Wasn't that enough to kill him? Yet we see him chilling with catwoman in paris again how they found each other and eloped we don't know.

You see when I hate/love movies I state my reasons scratch that I state the facts for doing so, I don't just string along becos "the critics and fans" like it .it is simple doesn't matter if the movie is as crappy as skyfall or as good as inception it doesn't matter whether your reasons for love/hate is. Silly or smart as far you have a reason other than it made a lot of money, it won awards or "critics and fans" like it otherwise you are an "I belong" victim. It is that simple

Liking a movie like dark knight for d artistic reasons u gave is well taken. Moneypenny cud have easily put a halt to silvas hard drive theft plan if she quickly reloaded her gun and fired again or she could contact MI6 turkish allies or her fellow colleagues to stop patrice at the train station or stop him at the airport, if that didn't work the Q branch could re-route the hard drive serial number and discover its current location afterall if they can track someone with his office printer in real life they definitely can track down a hard drive containing the list of NATO agents embedded in middle eastern terrorist organization
.When they saw they couldn't get the hard drive back they could have destroyed and redesign the decryption codes which will be useleSs in decrypting the file should a hacker try to get the codes they could even set a trap for the hacker and trace his address ,they could have cleared those agents out in time before their fotos went viral, they could have called youtube and every news agency to take down any videos they received concerning discreet MI6 files, they had 3 months what were they doing didn't they know that
.Bond was sent to interrogate and kill patrice but why didn't they ask him to question and kill silva it would have been more convenient and quicker that way its called damage control
When silva broke out of jail they should have sent a batallion of MI6 agents to chase after silva and deploy special tactics squad to evacuate the subway and seal silva off

Bond had like a million chances to kill silva, he cud have shot silva on the island, he had his chance to capture silva or kill him during their stand still on that train, bond could have shot him when he was climbing out of the tunnel,even in the courthouse both bond and silva climbed out the same tunnel came into the courthouse through the same door if but bond conveniently skipped the door silva burst through into the court room if only bond took the same boy he would have had a clear shot at silva from behind but noooo they just wanted silva to keep running to extend the movie length and when silva got away they could have used all their resources and allies to track and kill silva he is just one man.the only reason silva was so great was becos the script moved logic aside and defiled the law of physics, chemistry and even biology to make him last longer. They even picked the wrong actor for the role javier bardem seriously?
There's johny depp, there's jude law but javier bardem really?his villain portrayal was very poor he tries to be scary but its barely believable, he tries to have a pathetic background but we don't feel sorry for him, he tries to be so skillful and like able failed silva is by far the worst bond villain ever

Yeah I REALLY hated the villain too its quite a shame that he was supposed to be the highlight of the movie, firstly he is not supposed to a campy villain for Gods sake. What were they thinking this guy was captured and tortured by chinese and let go by the brits he even had a failed suicide attempt that left him disfigured so lose the sense of humor secondly his appearance, he should have been more elderly and ENGLISH!(It was useless to make the villain spanish)kind of like a mirror to bond, this will make his betrayal story really related to that of bonds . if they wanted to make him scary they should have made him do something like sneak into M's heavily guarded apartment(since we are moving for fantasy here) threaten her with the taunt think on your sins and then walk out , he should have done more damage, damage to bonds character like turn him against MI6, there should have been more body counts on the villains account not with a computer"(that's lazy writing) but thru what seems like a bond mission thereby telling the story thru the villains eyes(which will be new to bond franchise) the get yourself captured plan was totally useless and quite shameful to belong to a bond movie so take that out and if silva was really after revenge, killing M is a rather shallow end instead why doesn't he seek to sell M to the chinese to suffer the way He did that would have fulfilled his dream to embarrass her, make her suffer and perhaps kill her cos she is quite old see I'm hardly a writer and yet and I can do far better than john logan

Really I don't know if to blame the script or daniel craig. But this was daniel craig's worst performance it was so inconsistent, one minute he is daniel craig then he sean connery then he realizes oops I'm supposed to be roger moore in this scene it confused everyone so much so that everyone didn't even understand his emotions in this movie
Daniel craig is daniel craig the bad asssss bond hit man with emotions, he is not a campy actor neither is he a romantic. The only funny one liner daniel craig has ever dropped that worked was when he fondly noted M as his mother figure in QOS apart from that every single one liner is just an embarrassment he was trying to be suave and elegant but that failed too cause he is kinda ugly. womanizing? oh God the man rushes thru all the sex scenes like the ladies have some kinda STD I noticed it in casino royale and QOS , so daniel craig.playing pierce brosnan pornnstarr was also a bad idea. And in this movie daniel craigs dialogue is so slow and choreographed I noticed that in the car with moneypenny. then it just went on and on. Then daniel craigs action expressions were pretty lazy here like when he was shot he didn't even nurse the pain he just kept moving like nothing happened when he was even wrestling patrice on the train daniel craig isn't even panting or acting exhausted after the rigorous chase that preceded their clash,during the evaluation scenes when bond is doing the pull ups he doesn't even look like he is straining himself no vein popping out ,wow this is quite odd considering the fact that in his previous entries daniel craig always paid attention to details like after every fight scene he is always panting, looking around the area to see if anyone saw him just commit murder and his face always looks like he needs a doctor but in skyfall bond is supposed to be the man of steele so no human element for daniel craig here. I know I shouldn't have noticed all these but I just had to I was freaking bored and had to find something to keep me glued to the screen perhaps its the director that sucks at character interpretation who knows?

daniel craig's sloppy performance in skyfall didn't really surprise me honestly I think you people give him way too much credit. IMO the only person who deserves an applause for daniel craig's successful bond run is paul haggis(casino royale and quantum of solace) paul haggis turned a simple ian flemming story about cards into a two movie blockbuster first of its kind in the bond franchise, it brought back the darkness and realism that had been gone for a while and successfully re-wrote bond's character a plan which had been failing for the past 20 years. He even took time out to explain the fictitious code name 007 and made it more like a career than a movie brand , he is the one I really respect in this new bond era especially when I saw skyfall, jesus john logan really foked everything up and took it back to the cartoons of roger moore years the dialogue was poorly written the storyline was so undone and messy the bond chronicles was far drifting trying to link back to the older movies and at the same time taking a shot at the sean connery days. Its a head scratcher why paul haggis was never put on a retainer at least till daniel craig did his run I hear say na still the same people dey do the next james bond which I shall gladly skip

Yeah you know you have a point anybody can play bond i think pierce brosnan was a better bond actor compared to daniel craig,and my God they should fire the people behind the bond character coaching in this movie cos bond was out of character in this one. In dr. No bond had no biz stopping dr.no from sabotaging an american satellite, bond had no biz stopping a terrorist attempt. At miami airport in casino royale, he had no biz stopping a bolivian coup QOS but he still lent his support and saved the day anyway. It is in his character to do so like a code of ethic even if it is not his jurisdiction , most times he even benefits from the allegiance as a result of his actions so why did bond just watched an assassin keep killing people in china I didn't get cos if they were trying to make him human they definitely failed cos he was more like an iidiot than human. Seriously?no.12 "MI6 was the focus this time" that is what makes skyfall a good movie? That is a very lousy and desperate point to bring up but well let's enter ur realm of stoopidity by mentioning BETTER bond stories that were based on MI6
1. QOS bond was investigating an MI6 leak that's why he caught vesper lynds boyfriend at the end
2.For your eyes only was also about MI6 and the security of their ATAC machine
3. The world is not enough was about MI6 and I think skyfall sort of stole the whole story from that one #SMH 3 screenwriters and they had to still steal/recycle a bond story
4.From russia with love was about MI6 vs SPECTRE
Just to mention a few and these are even far better stories that make skyfall look like an embarrassment

3. The irony of the 'can Bond operate in an internet world' theme...he failed twice and got M killed...so he can't?
4. How out of place the above theme is; Bond is mature but always current. His a walking encyclopedia (watch the start of any Connery/Moore film). In the last 2 films he was using advanced mobile phone tracking systems...adding hacking does not suddenly make Bond take on the 'modern' age. Are economics or funding civilwars outdated?
There was hacking&computers in 1995's Goldeneye..all of a sudden, NOW, there are no more shadows? Did MI6 stop evolving in the late eighties?
5.They have a meeting to discuss MI6? This was relevant in Batman, a vigilante was trying to inspire people- It was intertwined in the narrative&theme. Skyfall enquiry was just Sam Mendes ripping off Batman
6. Silva's planned capture; Another overused device that was coincidently in Batman. So what did Silva achieve? A conversation with M? When this is revealed shouldn't we look back and have everything make sense? But, NO, I was left wondering why they tried to kill Bond twice in China.
7. Why was a hacker in a cell controlled by a computer? Why is Q so stupid he plugged in the laptop to the building? Why was the trap door on the inside of the first glass door? why was there a trap door? How did Silva evade an armed MI6 guard 20 meters from his cell?
8. Super calculating (hack crazy)Silva's plan at the end was a firefight? With a backup plan of another firefight?
9. So they figured out Silva was dressed as a cop and no-one told anyone? The irony of M defending herself (reading a poem) knowing her own ex agent was about to shoot up the place was lost on critics&writers alike.
10. Could Bond not take a Sim free phone or'radio' &call backup when Silva arrived at the end? Instead they had their Home Alone moment- even Macaulay Culkin eventually called the police
11. Silva is supposed to mirror Bond. But compare Bond's 'betrayal' to Silva being handed over for torture... Some forced connection is made considering they never met before. Silva tells a story of 2rats so we know what we are supposed to think.
12. Bond's betrayal is M ordering Naomi to take a risky shot. Bond later tell's M he heard the order... why didn't he get out the way then? he just kept fighting like an idiot. &did Naomi only have 1 bullet?
13.You can't make Bond survive 2 gun shots and a fall like that. His already an established character. The Punisher&Bourne are special BECAUSE they survive. It can't happen to them again mid film/ mid franchise..
14. Bond follows an assassin&lets him kill innocent people! How is this in his character?! The previous 2 films already rebooted Bond to show WHY he doesn't let innocents die.
15. Naomi is a forced character..appearing randomly to remind us she still exists so we can think it's 'clever' when she becomes Moneypenny. Money penny gets demoted from field agent to secretary?!! not even analyst. If she is that hopeless why is she on the most important mission ever? I think Sam Mendes hates women.
16. Bond doesn't even blink when the girl he just bedded a few hours ago gets shot in cold blood. He identifies Severine as being sex trafficked&abused- He then just jumps in her shower. I had little problem with Bond tricking a woman into bed in live and let die- but the sky-fall scene should land him in the S-offenders list.
17.They traced the shrapnel in Bond's chest to a 'special'bullet that only 3 people use? His a 'ghost'...but we have his full flight manifesto. This is how they advanced the plot? wait a minute....didn't that bad guy shoot up half of turkey..? A contrivance& a plot hole in one plot device, that takes some doing.
18. One minute he can't shoot...10 seconds later he shoots everyone in a 360 arc? so what happened? oh we are just abandoning that theme mid- se..
19. Quite a few instances of Bond just standing in front of a landscape shot with his legs apart 'being deep'. I thought he was urinating at first.
20. Q is both a quartermaster&a programmer for the sake of the illogical theme.. but these are completely different skill sets...?
21. Knowing all this...what is the list doing in Turkey? on a laptop hardrive? why are only 2-3 agents on the case? They couldn't even do the liberty of making something up for the audience. Imagine Thunderball didn't show how SPECTRE got the nukes...

The script makes no sense, the themes are inappropriate, Bond's character&decision making has been altered &they have confused mature with dinosaur. Die another Day was almost a Bond parody, but this one is simply a mess,&a betrayal of Bond.
Shame on critics too impatient to appreciate QoS for not spoon feeding them everything & praising sky-fall because of poorly scattered themes& metaphors on a plot that makes no sense, just because it makes them feel clever"

This is pathetic, after one year you are still ripping on skyfaLl? It is just a movie , a movie that was the result of a talented production team who sat down and worked hard building this movie to international status and its reflects this no hardwork goes un-rewarded I guess so either accept. That or go gaggle some walrus ballz or something.

Ripping on skyfall you know? I really don't know why its benn going on for this long, its just one of those fun things that never get old and trust me ripping skyfall the worst movie this century is not just fun but rather a privilege

skyfall is a classic, it is so wierd how much hate this movie is getting so what do you now like? Is it that dreadful quantum of solace or the overhyped casino royale where the faith of the world laid in the 10:1 chance of bond getting an ace of spades flush lol
