maasoap: Why is it that we only hear these killings when Fulanis attack? Do they occasionally wake up without provocation or any reason, and say let's go and kill some people? I advise that all forms of injustice including media bias should stop in Plateau State so that peace can reign.Mr man shutup wt do u know abt de crises going on in plateau, am niether 4rm plateau nor hausa fulani bt only a recidence. If I may ask, do u really have human sympathy at all, peaple are being killed here and u are in kind of celebrating and talking abt being biased, kk now let's put de issue of Jos aside, what are BH boys agitating for? Who belived" western Education is sin and seing we de Christain as unbelivers" by carrying out all sorts of atacks on christain worship areas, people no longer go to church this days as it used to be in de North because of ds terror groups. Another question I need to ask u, have u ever thought of de most recorded death rates starting 4rm 2011 till date? |

Ol'boy, go get a life. fulanis are so blood thirsty and their unwarranted attacks on communities all over Nigeria is well documented. Don't claim ignorance of that. A fulani herdsman with his cattles will go to a village so far away from fulani land, and lead them to graze on the villagers farmlands with all the crops yet unharvested, when he is challenged by the villagers, the next thing he will do is to start killing and maiming them. I believe the proper question should have been, why are the fulanis are so blood thirsty? Why is it that they don't value other people's lives? Why is it that they don't respect and obey the law? How come that they don't respect their host communities wherever they go? These are the right questions you should be asking, because the fulanis are killing people for no just cause all over nigeria. |

why ar u people too biased. Nonsence southerners who knows nothing but hatred to d muslims. Sectarian clashes in volatile central Nigeria have left 23 people dead last week, in a region where bitter ethnic disputes have killed thousands in recent years, the military told AFP Wednesday. Details of the March 20 and 21 attacks were slow to emerge from Plateau State, which falls on the dividing line between Nigeria’s mostly Christian south and predominately Muslim north. Military spokesman Lt. Jude Akpa said that 11 members of the mainly Muslim Fulani ethnic group, known largely as nomadic herders, were killed on March 20 after crossing to the land belonging to members of a Christian tribe called the Ataka. The next day, Fulani gunmen reportedly returned to the same area of Riyom district and carried out a reprisal attack. “On the 20th, the 11 people killed were Fulani…and on the 21st the 12 were known as Ataka,” he said. Feuds over land and political rights have killed about 4,000 people in Plateau since 2001, the International Crisis Group said in a report last year. The area’s Christian ethnic groups consider themselves indigenes and accuse Muslim herders from the north of trying to appropriate wide swatches of land. The state has consistently been led by Christian politicians, with Fulani groups claiming they have been denied basic rights, including the ability to formally own land. Nigeria’s constitution grants enhanced rights to those designated indigenes, giving Plateau’s Christians better access to public education and public sector employment. |
