D lord Jesus Christ gave three orders 2 His army on earth.First,we re 2 love,which is d greatest of all.Second,we re 2 recruit civilians into His army.D third order has 2 do wit our relationship wit d enemy.James4:7says,"Submit yourselves therefore 2 God.Resist d devil nd he wil flee 4rm u".If u re a soldier of Jesus,u re expected 2 resist d devil.To resist entails applyin force in preventin sumtin 4rm happenin.Many pple bind d devil while dey re expected 2 resist him.He wil only laugh @ dem nd continue 2 do wat he was doin.Such a Christian may think dat devil has either bcom more powerful or God's Word has bcom less potent,not knowin dat d problem is wit him or her.Stop strayin 4rm d code of conduct guidin God's army! Accordin 2 revelation20:1-3,d only times Satan wil be bound is sometime in d future.One big angel wit great authority wil bind d devil nd throw him into his prison - d bottomless pit; he wil b dere for 1000yrs.On d oda hand,u can bind demons or evil spirits nd cast dem out. How do u resist d devil? It is by bein steadfast in d faith.Satan is a very persistent opponent,in resistin him u must be unmoveable.U must doggedly refuse 2 shift grounds.Satan knows hw 2 muster several demons 2 put pressure on sum1 to give in.He cannot sustain dis 4 too long but within dat period,d fellow wil be virtually under immense pressure.At such a time,leave d vicinity of dat temptation,shut d eyes of ur mind 2 dat temptation,pray in d spirit nd conciously affirm dat u re not yieldin 2 Satan's pressure.Confess in d name of Jesus Christ,I resist u Satan.Every demon assigned against me on dis matter,I bind nd cast u out of dis situation.In d name of Jesus,I refuse 2 yield my members 2 sin but 2 righteousness(Romans6:11-14).Sin shall not dominate my body bcus I am now under grace,etc.As u continue 2 resist even in tiredness,d devil wil flee 4rm u.So always use d Word of God 2 ward him off.
