Hello Friends,

The audio-visual team leader will usually set up and take down the sound system for the Sunday morning service, including all microphones for the pastors, choir and other worship leaders. He will also assist with the sound needs of the worship band and choir, including performing a sound check for quality prior to the service and operating the sound mixer. The sound technician should maintain all sound equipment, and arrange for repairs or purchases of equipment. Special services, such as memorials, weddings or other performances through the church year require setup and special attention to the particulars of the service. The audio-visual person ideally should recruit and train church volunteers to step in when the sound technician is not available.
