Suppose you use 15,000 litres for the water level becos you won't fill it to top..

That is 15 litres of water per fish...

Is OK...

The rule of tomb is 10litres per fish if you change every 2 to 3 days.. But with 15 litres you stand at good advantage..

Your pond will accommodate the 1000 fishes to table size conveniently...

from your picture the water is polluted, you have a poor water managment, that is a fungi infection so you need to treat them with a antifungi drug + salt for atleast 5 days

when last did u change their water, this looks like the water is out of oxygen.

I change water everyday even twice a day sometimes, but the issue is,this only happens in the morning to afternoon but they swim nornal in the evening and night

Try and get an aerator or run constant flow through if u have enough water...

wat sort of pond do use? cos i have a similar problen once wen i construct a new tarpaulin vat, it turns out the tarpaulin is poisoning the water and the fish had to hang in order to breath

1. make sure that the pond is not over stocked. 2. make sure the level of water is enough. 3. changing water twice in a day is to stressful for the fish. 4. you can treat them with aquadex plus for like 5 days

You can't rear catfish in that drum, better to get a regular geepee tank.

my oga. I still see the possibility because I once raised cat fish in a big plastic bucket but no wahala if the guy can afford gp tank
