I asked that question because I wanted to point out the ridiculousness of god sending me to hell for not worshipping him. God does not need my worship and it doesn't make any difference in his life whether I worship him or not so why would he torture me for all eternity for not worshipping him?

The main purpose of life is worship,if you worship Allah,it's for your own benefits and if you refused to worship the creator of heavens and the earth and all what's between,the loss is against your own self.It's a choice as you have said Allah isn't in need of your own worship the pious that know the purpose of their creator will worship Him and even The angels who are close to Allah worship Him everyday and they are never weary of his worship.....Peace

Why did Allah create shaytan if he knew that shaytan was going to send many humans to hell fire?

prostrate before Adam,but Satan refused out of pride and
arrogance, saying, “I am better than him [Adam],You
created me from fire,and created him from clay.”[Surah Al-Araf
7:12].
Allah cursed Satan and banished him from Heaven.Satan requested an opportunity to mislead mankind and Allah granted this request.“[Satan] said,‘Because You have put me in error,I will surely sit in wait for them [mankind]on Your straight path.Then I will come to them from before them and from behind them and on their right and on their left, and You will not find most of them grateful [to You].[Surah Al-Araf 7:16-17].
Allah said in Surah Al-Mulk 67;2 that this world is a test for the hereafter,everyone has a choice to choose between right and wrong.Satan only whispers suggestions,it's up to the person to accept or decline and Allah knows best .....Peace

NL member: However, there are still a few things I wanted to tell you. The reason why I asked if allah hates us is because he has deliberately made it difficult for us to go into paradise and made it easy for us to go into hell. After making it easy for us to go into hell,he creates shaytan knowing fully well that shaytan will make it even more difficult to attain paradise.

This is the hadith talking about how allah made it hard for humans to enter paradise
Hadith no: 25
Narrated / Authority of: Abu Huraira
that Allah's Messenger (PBUH) said: When Allah created Paradise, He ordered Jibrae1: Go and see it. So he went and saw it. Then he returned and said: 0 Lord, By Your glory! who hears of it would love entering it. Then He (allah) encompassed it with unpleasant things and said: 0 Jibrael! Go (again) and see it. So he went away to look at it. Then he came back and said: 0 Lord, By Your glory! I fear that no one will enter it. The Prophet (SAW) said: When Allah created Hell, He said: 0 Jibrael, go and see it. So he went and saw it. Then he turned up and said: 0 Lord, By Your glory! No one who hears of it will enter it. So He (Allah)encompassed it with lusts (worldy desires) and said: o Jibrael! Go back and see it. He went again to see it and came back saying: 0 Lord, By Your glory! I fear that no one will escape from entering it

Why did allah do this? It makes it look like he doesn't want people to go into paradise.

Does Allah want it to be difficult for us to attain paradise?

or why did he make it difficult after initially making it easy?

and then create satan knowing fully well that satan will lead many astray.
