I don't think I've seen any reference of this in the books, but I think naturally he would go for the most powerful which I think Bran is.
He has the power to see all his plans, know when he is coming etc. He can never take bran by surprise. Killing him would weaken the living.

Finally, I also think any action taken to kill the night king would involve bran

A lot of filler scenes, but I think it was necessary. This is our last chance to see our favorite characters before they start dropping down like flies.

The annoying thing about this leak is that it came from Amazon prime Germany. How can you be showing credits of Season 8 premiere then booooom, you transition to Episode 2?

The painful thing is that instead of the viewers to gasp, quickly switch it off & wait for the rest of the world, they sat down and watched like the traitors they are.

Like how do you just watch an episode of GOT you never prepared for sef? How does your brain even work sef? Is something wrong with you? Are you possessed?

I had to mentally prepare myself for the Season premiere. Took my bath, had a haircut & wore suit & cover shoe before climbing my bed to watch.

I remember calling my Indian Guruji , Prakash, to check if my Zodiac alignment & rotation of the moon aligns.
I began watching the first episode of season 7 only after he confirmed that lord Shiva gives me the go-ahead.

So far, expectations have not been met. Boring episode.

I think the way the producers started season 8 up to this point was the bomb. The best way to enjoy an experience is to build up to it... Like sex, you just don't jump into it. You do a little pre-intimacy, both for u and your lady.

This episode had no fights or violence, but boy o boy did I enjoy it. The twirls of emotions in the pit of my stomach were threatening to burst open, and when podrick sang (bless his soul and voice) a tear nearly fell from my eyes.

The battle for winterfell will come next and I will fully enjoy it because the producers have properly built up my emotions to it. I'll feel sad when those I love fall and I'll rejoice when the night king is defeated.

That's how to enjoy a movie mate.

In one of the videos the producers made, they made reference to this. The way he speaks now is an indication of how well he had adapted to the language.
He has also a language coach that makes sure his accent is the right amount.

As for me, this is one of the best Got episodes ever. Everyone coming together, emotions in the air.

It's because clearer that Daenerys major concern is the iron throne. One of the reason she decided to go north, was because she thought Cercei would follow suit. So that after the battle, she would easily get the throne. She was so pissed when she heard Cercei won't be coming, smiles.

How can people like Daenerys and hate Sansa?.... It should be the other way round.

I love sansa as equally as I hate dany...dany irks me,like i don't get her. He doesn't see the future. He sees past and present. And he clearly said he doesn't know because no one had tried

The producers however hinted in one of their explanatory videos that bran's power will evolve and he would be able to see glimpses of the future. I'm looking out for that one.

Since I started reading comments here, I've always had this thought but it has intensified since this season started...

...Not everybody is meant to watch game of thrones. It's not like every other movie or series. You need a balance of everything (sight, understanding, emotion... Etc) to really understand it, comprehend it.

You need to get into the mind of certain characters to really understand the way they talk, the way they reason, their motives.

It's sad to say, but most of us watch it like a Nigerian movie

The crypts have been mentioned so much this season alone and HBO even dedicated a whole trailer showing just the crypts.
The crypts of Winterfell have been speculated to keep the dead from rising as it was built by the same man who built the wall. . .around the same time just after the last war(a long winter) with a Night King.

The key to defeating the Night King could be in the crypts.

remember the show does not fully follow the book's narratives, the producers might decide to throw that outside the window to make things more interesting.


@ the bolded, my theory is that Rickon wakes up, finally learns how to zigzag. He zigzags towards the night king and ferociously pulls out the dragon glass from his heart there by undoing the magic of the children of the forest... Saving everyone!!! Hurray...

According to Isaac (Bran) in an interview a year ago. He said they shot a scene where Sansa came to meet him. The story line was that as Sansa Sent Briene to king's landing, she wanted to deal with Arya without any interference from Briene. But it was at the last minute she went to meet Bran and Bran revealed what Lord Baelish was planning which led to his executive.
As Y'all are watching this show, yes Sansa is smart but don't forget that there's someone (Bran) who knows secrets. There are some scenes GOT producers shoots that don't make it to the show.
The producers are keeping us in suspense.
Las Las the smartest and and greatest hero is Jon snow. He fought, dedicated and sacrificed his life for his people without asking anything in return

They should just let her flow?? To where?? Flow to dumbness ?? Your hatred for sansa is understandable bro but at this point we need to be realistic here .its not possible for a dumb stupid girl like sansa to spend almost half of her life with 4 cunning, sadistic and demonic characters like cersie, joffery, ramsay and littlefinger and still end up dumb again. Cleverness and smartness will eventually fight back. And thats what show is naturally potraying.

Likewise tyrion , you cant be Forever Smart all the time! In fact sometimes Clever people need to make mistake so as to re-affirm to the world that they are fallible and their wits are neither staged or artificial.
The producers are doing a good job, lets give them the benefit of the doubt and thumb ups to them for doing their best to keep almost half of the whole world away from boredom .

Still a boring episode for me. No fight, arya's roughness makes her very sexually unappealing to me. I'd cut my D off if I felt even a flinch seeing her nude.

Best scene for me was where the young Mormont was schooling her cousin in bravery and the art of war.
