I get most of your point actually but the thing is that you are viewing the show from African man perspective while I'm looking at it from the western female perspectives. In the world we live in African men believe what it means to be important is to think of how to provide and protect women and children (which is what Jon is all about) while women want to be the Queens. To you as long as Jon got to do the dirty job he is worthy of emulation the round table talk isn't important. Have you ever imagined why you will never see women protesting /fighting for equal rights in mining, construction, field work in the military, blue collar work in power sector etc but are always fighting for equal pay?
This is the same ideology that is being pushed about. The only important male should think of how to protect women from male rapist (which was while Jamie was spared) the others should only think of protecting women and children and not care about power (which is what Jon is all about)

Honestly, the reason Jon contributed little to Jamie's trial is that he never really cared... It wasnt about being a man or woman.. That's just Jon's personal character, to top it, he was disturbed. I'm sure dany would care less about Jamie if she had heard about Jon's heritage as well

Sometimes don't look at a person's reaction to something from the gender view, we do some things because of our personal character not because we're male or female.

If we're to honestly look at Jamie's trial scene, that trial was unnecessary, were they going to kill him if Brienne didn't testify for him.. It was just stupid.. That trial wasn't important.

See you, see white man perspective. Biko mechie onu.

People that created, initiated and support the positive, negative and horrible sides of feminism are busy celebrating their triumph in Game of Thrones so far.

Moving forward: wink

This made me laugh. Thanks

you didn't see where the only place that was working was where that widow was ruling, how dumb Rick became how an untrained Caro became a bad ass and was kicking all the males "aggressors" asses I think it's s8 or s7 there about.

Women in leadership position isn't feminism to me, the woman leading Alexandria in TWD that I watched loved her husband and was respectful to him, the community lost a good leader the moment she became a widow and all hell was let loosed... Don't want to talk about TWD here, I was a big fan of the show until the moment they started drifting away.

Jaime murdered Dany's father. It doesn't matter if the Night King was standing at the door. She would have still wanted to execute him

It wasn't stupid, didn't you watch Tyrion's trail at the eyrie?

She just heard Jon who she is in love with is now the legitimate heir to the throne and their love is also brewing incest

But you think she'd be more concerned about Jamie who killed her father, a man she hardly knew, didn't bond with..

Weigh the two again

During tyrion's trial, the mad king was not knocking at the door and any man's head could just go down as they weren't fighting the dead at the time

That trial didn't look serious.

Though Tyrion's trial at the hand of Tywin was so tough, kai.

Interestingly a woman was also in charge of Tyrion's trial at the eyrie. What does that say women's judgement?

Which everywhere scatter? Focus on the particular person that said it.

Meanwhile, light one or two or more candles for the next episode.

You are right. Right in the middle of a war, probably the last war that might have everyone killed, they still have time for a court sitting, who does that?

When they should be happy that they have an extra hand to help them.

John's answer was on point. Even Cersei is needed in this war if it comes to that.

Through out that scene, I was just pissed... If you're going to try Jamie, why the fvck did you lose your dragon in the process of begging cerci to join your army, so you can try him when he joins you

So stupid of them

I don't have an issue with any woman doing anything.. My issue is with those finding faults just because more women are in control now

Did you watch the episode or did a friend just tell you the major events? Jaime's trial was the first thing that happened, way before Jon told her his true name.
Also, if you were paying attention, you'd hear when she said her brother and she talked a lot about their father's murderer and what they'd do when they caught him.
Jaime's one of the main reasons why she never knew her father and had to spend most of her life in exile, but you think he's unimportant to her.

You don't understand him. He's putting Daenerys in Jon's shoes.

Honestly I don't think the trial of Jamie was useless...

So you guys just want them to hug him for riding up North without the lannisters soldiers to help in the battle? He's a fckn lannister and kingslayer for crying out loud, what type of welcome should he be given, please tell me In as much as it's cool to criticise we should be mindful also.

Jamie was not even surprised with the treatment he was given, the only surprise he had was that Bran didn't even mention he was the one that pushed him from the tower. shocked

Let's rub minds.

Do you think Jon Snow as the warden of the North would behead a deserter from the Nightswatch?
Let's assume that the night King is not coming anytime soon.

If yes. Why?
If no. What are your reasons?

He wouldn't. If Ned himself had met, one on one with a walker before that execution, he wouldn't have decapitated that deserter.

Very true, the story of white walkers then was like a rumour, myth or legend.

So even Ned couldn't believe him and had to cut his head off for desertion.

If the NK wasn't coming anytime soon, Jon would behead the deserter once the judgement is passed.
Remember Ned taught him that he that passes the judgement should swing the sword.

Also he passed the treason judgement on Olly and Co (those guys that killed him) and he killed them.....bearing in mind he had seen NK in Hardhome.
Its complicated.

I salute your intelligence. But I feel you can also look at it from another perspective.
Jon snow may decide to pardon the deserter as he is also a deserter from the nightswatch.
He might want to ask him the reasons for deserting if it is genuine.

Jon, a supposed warden of the north whose opinion doesn't even count in serious matter. During the "trial" of Jamie was he even considered worthy of contributing anything meaningful?
He was only asked "what does the warden of North has to say" after the 3 women have decided his fate. His opinion doesn't even count and he is always mocked for knowing nothing. Is such a person worthy of emulation?
some people will just be saying what they don't even understand.. seriously the most outstanding character is this movie is Jon and is worthy of emulation to the highest degree. All other characters fight for the throne including dany, but he fight for the people not the throne. he doesn't like ruling but he is born to rule.. he is the most humble in the series, and not proud like u expect him to be. And also u need to understand the situation at hand, he just learnt that he is dating his nephew... you should know what that means... so I don't know what ur balbing about. you know nothing lilbest4
