I see it is gaining much popularity across the whole world right now, and surprisingly sells for 1BTC = $106. It actually started getting a lot of attention when Cyprus citizens had a problem with their government trying to take money from their accounts.

Interestingly I found out that the coins has been existing since about 9years ago and the price as of January this year was just about 1BTC = $60.

What do you think about this virtual currency?

Bitcoin is fast gaining acceptance worldwide. Before now hackers sell their wares and accept payment via bitcoins. Recently namecheap starting accepting it.

Looking @ It's appreciation rate, it looks like a viable form of investment with high ROI. However, like most electronic currency system, It's high yield also comes with high risk.

It is rising everyday. Happy I cashed in early when it was at $60.
