I disagree, LG is equally as good as samsung. I think this is more about NAME than it is about the actual quality of the machines. I have had a black and decker can opener for years now on my kitchen shelf and I eat from cans mostly. Someone could come in to claim because black and decker is cheap and not known as much as SONY is, a SONY can is better. That has little bearing to reality. According to consumer reports( which I happen to get in the mail like every month), buying of electronics is no longer a name game as much as it is a brand name. I would not blindly go out to buy just cause of the name but based on reviews of the actual project I am to buy.

THIS IS WOT MINE LOOKS LIKE,ITS A GRUNDIG,GOT IT IN GERMANY. AND JUST because I TRUSTED NEPA TOO MUCH OR IS IT PHCN,I LEFT IT ON WITHOUT A UPS AND NOW I CANT EVEN ENJOY IT AFTER SO MUCH STRESS OF BRINGING IT DOWN.THE OUTLET GOT BURNT.DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE CAN REPAIR IT. Right bout now am working on a Samsung LCD HDTV Monitor of size 1 terabyte. It's gat DV3, SRS,Syncmaster 225MD and some other compatibles. I see no competition with the clearity,
