A survey conducted by World Health Organization (WHO) indicates that Nigeria has one of the worst road death records in the world and this is no thanks to the poor state of our roads and our reactions to Emergencies.

The study measured deaths per 100,000 and Nigeria’s death rate per 100,000 was 33.7 with a slow response to emergencies also, but these figures can’t only be associated with our bad roads alone, the state of the vehicles that ply the roads can’t be ignored because most of them are either not roadworthy or in poor conditions.

95% Of Nigerian Police Officers Fail
Intelligence
Statistics appear to have eventually
verified what numerous citizens had
supposed all along that many Nigerian
police officers are incapable of
passing a standard intelligence
gathering assessment test.
Reports state out of the 5,000 police
officers assessed for intelligence
gathering, only 266 qualified.
According to the Assistant Inspector
General of police, Solomon Arase in
charge of Force Intelligence Bureau:
“Not all police officer can be an
understanding officer. After we
conveyed out evaluation check on the
agents on ground, we found out that
a of them have to go.”
“Intelligence is based on knowledge. If
you don’t have the knowledge, you
can’t be a smart police officer,” He
added.
