A landlord, Olubukunaji Obajimi at 56, has been put in the cell after he was charged in court for locking his tenants inside their roomover his missing chicken.
He was charged on a two-tally charge of behaviorprone to create break of open peace and unlawfully bolting out his occupant under the watchful eye of Ejigbo Judge's Court, Lagos State, southwest Nigeria.
The lord lord charged that his occupants Chukwunonso Okafor and his family were answerable for his missing chicken and locked every last one of them inside their rooms from morning till night demanding they should produce the chicken.
The occurrence happened at55, Olubukunayo Obajimi road, Egan, edge of Lagos, where both live.
They argued without any result and they reached their connection, who in turn reached the police.
Depicting what happened, thetenant's wife, Mrs Ngozi Okafor stated they woke up and after their typical morning devotion to God, they found that their pad was bolted from outside by their oga land lord and they can't go out.
She stated her spouse, Chukwunonso asked the landlord what happened and the house owner let him know that his chicken was lost andhe was suspecting that one of them in his family took it.
She stated the land lord stated he might discharge them assuming that they furnish the chicken.
She stated in the wake of contesting and illustrating that they had nothing to do with his chicken,he declined to listen to them and they reached her sister who reached the police at Igando division who safeguarded them.
