Its a pity it have to come to this. I have tried every possible means to resolve this matter with mikky but he has proved too arrogant and unyielding.

On the 15th of this month I asked Mikky to buy me a BB and transferred N25k to him as deposit, the total cost was N37k.
The balance was supposed to be N12k but he mailed me that my balance was N5k. I saw the error and immediately alerted him and subsequently transferred the real balance of N12k to him the next day being 16th.

As I was still waiting for my BB, on the 18thof this month I saw a HP laptop I loved and told him to help me bid for it, I transferred N40k to his account as deposit. He bid for the laptop and won it at $324.

He sent me a text that my balance was N31k plus but I quickly mailed him this calculations:
$324.99 (161*324.99) = N52,323.39
Commission ($30) + Shipping ($40) = $70 (161*70) = 11270
Total = N52,323.39 + N11270 = N63,593.39

Balance = N63,593.39 - N40,000 = N23,593.39

But he said there is an extra $10 for customs, but I protested that he never told me that at the beginning. He insisted that I have to pay it, I agreed just to let it slide and sent him this mail:

If you insist, the
Balance = N23,593.39 + Custom $10 (N1610) = N25,203.39

Roughly N25,200.


This was his reply on the 20th of this month:

Thanx bro, I'll recalculate wen am less busy, $10 shd not b a problem for u.I just hv to stay on d bizness with u guys help...tnx again

He never told me what he found out with the recalculation he promised till today, 29th May, 2013 when my package arrived and he sent me a text, thus:
"Sir good, laptop is available for pick up. Balance is N31,484"

I replied him that he was wrong but he recalculated and sent me another text thus:
"your balance is N31,645"

When I challenged him, he said he paid $40 for shipping to his address but my problem is that he never said this to me all these while, even the custom fee which i paid was never mentioned in our deal.

This laptop I have already offered it to a client using my normal calculattions but now am expected to pay extra N6k plus for no fault of mine.

I tried to negotiate with Mikky to come to a compromise, so we can share the loss since I was never told at the onset but he was so arrogant with the mails he exchanged and even said he was never going to chat with me again on this issue.

When I told him I was going to bring it here if that is what he wants, this was his reply:

"Do u see a any website on my thread? I do dis Bleep shit on a part-time bases bro,(I got a regular job here in usa and am helping u nigerians), and for u to come out with an empty threat as going all d way to my thread to discuss this, huh u make me laugh in swahili..."I DON'T GIVE A Bleep"!over a 100clients since almost 6weeks dt I openned this thread, u are d only one dt does not know dt u pay shipping for any item dt comes with shipping....make me laugh again, for 6k? Abeg park well!"

I want you guys to look at these and tell me where I have offended this young man.

I always check to make sure it's free shipping cos some sellers are very deceitful, they might bring down the price of a product and slam a hefty shipping price on it. Once saw an iphone 5 for $300 and shipping $250, shey you get the trock? Making it same as the street price still. My advice is always make sure it's free shipping and also note if the seller is from California where Mikky is based, you'll have to pay some sort of tax.
But Mikky should have told you about it sha or maybe he felt you already saw it.
Never had a bad experience except that items now take longer to arrive, which is understandable cos of the growing number of clients.
Note: the seller shipping is for sending the item to Mikky and not his price for sending to Nigeria.

@Tochi. I understand this bro but my only grouse is that when he gave me the initial balance, I drew his attention to the total being different from what I had on my part, I also try to analyse how i got my own total and he promised to recalculate and get back to me, he never did and i assumed all was sorted out with my own calculation and went ahead to cost the laptop and got a deposit for it. I wont go back to my client now and say, hey! those stuffs cost more and you have to part with extra 6k, would you, if you were in my shoes?

I see it as a mistake on my part for not checking and then on his part for not spelling it out to me the first time I showed my concern about it. I try as much to be civil with him during our mail exchange but Mikky was just too strong, not even a common APOLOGY! We all make mistakes all the time but we should be ready to accept responsibilty for them and move on.

My advice to Mikky is try a much as you can to always spell out any extra charges that might come with any product like CUSTOM and SHIPPING to your address because it will always bring it up issues, most people here buy these stuffs to resell. Its unfair that after costing a product, you are slammed with extra charges. Also, brother I will advice you be more civil while dealing with your clients and drop the arrogance, just a little case of "I am sorry" can solve a whole lot issues. I also have clients I deal with.

I will be making the transfer of #31,600 to you this morning and will allow this slide, though it costs me but I prefer it sorted out.
