MINIMUM REQUIRMENTS: NOTE: All applicants MUST address each selection criterion detailed below with specific and comprehensive information supporting each criterion or the application will not be considered. 1. Education: Advanced degree in public health (MPh or similar), AND a medical degree (MBBS, MD or equivalent) is required. 2. Prior Work Experience: minimum of ten years of progressive and responsible experience in HIV/AIDS prevention strategy development and program development and implementation IS required. Experience in HIV prevention programming for the prevention-of mother-to-child transmission (PMTCT) as well as most-at- risk populations (MARPs) is required. 3. language Proficiency: Level IV English (high proficiency in verbal and written expression) is required. 4. Job Knowledge: In-depth professional-level knowledge of development principles, concepts, and practices, especially as they relate to the assignment and to public health and prevention programs in Nigeria and the region. The Advisor must have a knowledge and understanding of the economic, political, social, and cultural characteristics of Nigeria; and, the economic development problems, resources, and resource constraints, and development prospects and priorities of Nigeria and the region. S. Skills and Abilities: The Advisor will be required to function collaboratively within a Team-focused working environment and foster greater efforts of collaboration amongst his/her direct reports.
