This piece, devoid of religious sentiments, is directed at persons who disbeleive the trinity concept. What immense blasphemy you speak debasing the Creator of all things by equating Him in depiction with a human-being; what impudence for the Almighty you exude with the beleif and feeling that He is of your species too and arguing the possibility of a three-in-one being working in unity. Perhaps you indeed fully understand the 'wings' angels have, a phenomenon which you accept with no iota of doubt in your hearts.

Man, there exist powers above you and beyond your own definition of the possible or impossible; steer clear from that which is outside your scope as humans to fathom, for you are not/not suppossed to be all-knowing (e.g. the trinity, the immaculate conception of Jesus Christ who Himself as part of It, made references to the trinity umpteen times during His sojourn here on earth, etc). Furthermore, knowing God in the man-and-God relationship context basically refers to knowing Him via His worship, obedience to His commandments, etc.

Man created in His image and likeness misconstrued words basically interprets as the mandate given to man to become master over a portion of God's creation/creatures which is partially akin to the way that He (God) is master over all and hence an explanation for the masculine 'He' attributed to Him too.

Phrases like the 'spirit' of God, God is 'spirit' and should be worshipped in 'spirit', God's 'spirit' moved over the waters, etc still does not justift a same-same equillibrum as the 'spirit' word in this case is a mere word that out of limitation and boundary of expression with English words is used but still put as only 'God' in some other versions of the bible. Thus, the spirit of man or man's spirit but the divine '' of God. Conclusively, God is divine and man spirit (two distinct beings). He may be slow to anger but you may as well be provokinng His wrath on yourself as you blaspheme and degrade His authority. A word is enough for the wise!

A 3-in-1 being is a misnomer.

Can you show us TWO places in the bible where GOD himself, not others, emphatically presented himself as a 3-in-1 being.

Leave sentiment and tradition aside, let us face the hard facts as presented in scripture.

Also can you kindly tell us why the early believers held on to the ONE God position , and why it took the Trinity doctrine hundreds of years to evolve into it's current state.

Surely, if truth is truth, there is no need for this sort of evolution, it should be the truth which is yesterday , today and forever, no ?

We will not steer clear of what GOD has lovingly provided in scripture for our understanding.

If God is father, Son and Holy Spirit as 3 distinct persons, then do you agree that for us to be in his image, we must also be body , soul and spirit as 3 distinct persons yet ONE ?
