WARNING!

If you didn’t want to have
anything to do with Nigerian politics, you probably will after reading this

Here's a breakdown of a Nigerian senator’s MONTHLY salary:

Basic Salary (BS) = N2,484,245.50 Hardship Allowance: 50% of Basic Salary = N1,242,122.75
Constituency allowance: 200% of BS =
N4,968,509.00
Furniture Allowance: 300% of BS = N7,452,736.50
Newspaper allowance: 50% = N1,242,122.70
Wardrobe allowance: 25% = N621,061.37
Recess Allowance: 10% = N248,424.55
Accommodation: 200% = N4,968,509.00
Utilities: 30% = N828,081.83
Domestic Staff: 35% = N863,184.12 Entertainment: 30% = N828,081.83
Personal Assistance: 25% = N621,061.37
Vehicle Maintenance Allowance: 75% =
N1,863,184.12
Leave Allowance : 10% = N248,424.55
One off payments (Severance gratuity): 300% = N7,452,736.50
Motor Vehicle Allowance: 400% of BS = N9,936,982.00

Total per MONTH = N29, 479, 749.00,

And this is the same National assembly that turned down a motion to pay stipends to unemployed graduattes and youths, yet this their salary amount is exclusive of other financial scams that go on in the Lower and Upper houses of Legislature in the name of committees, sub committees, public hearings, over sights etc etc.

Its even more pathetic when you discover that the case is not different at ministerial, Special advisership, ambassadorial, executive (State and Federal) levels OR Even at the levels of heads of MDAs like pension, NNPC, NEPA, NMA, NPA, NFF, NPF, NSCDC, NTA, NCC, NACAA, CUSTOMS, NSC, NDDC, IMMIGRATION CBN, SEC, NSE, even NLC

And in case you have no clue, Nigerian
politicians are the most well-paid in the WORLD.

Why can't we be the best governed people?

Why must we come to NL to kill ourselves with some Choosing Tinubu, over Atiku or Buhari over GEJ, or IBB over OBJ, or ACN over PDP while these legislooters and their team mates in other segment of the economy smile to the bank every month. The least we can demand for is good governance. How many heads do they have? When will the youths get dissatisfied with eating crumbs from the 'masters'' table. And start asking relevant question? When are we going to chase this minute group of vultures away from our commonwealth??

@ all ''What you don't want, DON'T WATCH'' #food4thought#!!!

Am jaw-dropped,don't even know where to start from.am far from speechless but not surprised,if the national budget can contain allocation for millions of naira to service and maintain generators in the state house that should surely have 2 4 7 power supply.eew,am disgusted, irrated, but can't do anything about it.

Just look at that list, see the amount being paid to a politician when more than 60% of the people are poor. These guys earn in a month half of what Obama earns in a year.

Nigeria is a fuc*ing travesty, a big joke.
