The five clubs are high-flying Rangers Int’l FC of Enugu, Heartland FC of Owerri, Dolphins FC of Port Harcourt, Sunshine Stars of Akure and Lobi Stars of Makurdi.

The deals were signed and announced at an unveiling ceremony held in Lagos on Tuesday afternoon in the presence of the Chief Executive Officer of Guinness Nigeria PlC, Seni Adetu, along with the chairmen of the respective clubs.

The financial details of the deals were not instantly revealed, but Seni Adetu disclosed that although the details are exclusive, the clubs remain at liberty to disclose.

He further stated that the rationale for selecting the clubs to partner was based on recent success and the traditional pedigree of the five clubs selected for sponsorship.

The five clubs are expected to file out for their League matches with the insignia of Harp Premium Larger, which is a popular product of Guinness Nigeria.

It will be recalled that last year Dubic Extra Lager, a product of Guinness Nigeria, signed similar deals with both Shooting Stars of Ibadan and Enyimba of Aba.

Kwara United of Ilorin also replaced last season's shirt sponsors 'Chelfom' with Yammfy Farms, who signed a deal with the Afonja Warriors in the off-season believed to be in the region of about N20million.
