Contact Wema Registrars for further advice. They last paid dividend in 2004 due to financial instability but promised to commence dividend payment last year. However, Wema Bank's nine months financial report of 2012 indicated a loss of N1.8 billion. So forget about Dividends for now.

You should thank your stars that you at least got a dividend. I bought Ecobank, up till now no Share Certificate talk less of dividend.

@fridelly, find out who the registrar of WEMA Bank is. With internet you can do that. You either call them or go there likely to be Lagos. Then you can find out the status of your holding and unclaimed dividends. They will instruct you on what to do to get all your dividends. You may have to put pressure, as customer service is always poor with most of the registrars.

You will surely have all your dividends and confirm your holding if any bonus has been added(though bonus has been very scarce this days)

Happy investing.
