I have been thinking of opening an account with GTBank but no time to go there {strictly online always}...So while going through my facebook wall post, i saw the advert, sharply i clicked on it and after filling the form within few minutes, an account was been pre-opened for me, just to walk-in to any branch and activate it.

But my question is, with easy hacking of facebook account, can customers that open an account via this means be guaranteed safety?

U are ansking a question that u have the answer. U said the account is pre-opened, they still need to authenticate and profer some levels of validation when u visit any of the branches. I think it's just better cos it reduces turn-around-time and aids self-service...
