According to top Sports Editor, Onochie Anibeze, plans have been perfected by unscrupulous NFF board members to frustrate Keshi out of his job. If we don't support this campaign and make enough noise, these guys will succeed in dragging our football back another 20 years even after winning AFCON 2013. With the going ons, Nigeria might not be at Brazil 2014 World Cup if we don't act fast.

So folks, let us start a campaign to stop save Keshi and by extension the Super Eagles from the pit being dug by some NFF members. Let us make this thread big, like it, post comments and let's get the attention of those that can stop these unpatriotic NFF members in their tracts!

Below is an excerpt from Onochie's recent article in the Vanguard newspaper appealing to the Senate President to intervene:

......It is more about Keshi, our Eagles and the leadership of the Federation. I would like you to call for a truce so that we can present a united force in our 2014 World Cup campaign. Everybody meant well but unfortunately their actions were misconstrued. The ministry wanted Eagles to win and started the campaign for a foreign coach. Maigari doesn’t talk much and his silence was misconstrued as consent for a foreign coach. Keshi said that one of the things that hurt him badly was the booking of their flight back to Nigeria before they played Ivory Coast. It gave the impression that those he worked for didn’t believe in him. He was rightly disappointed. Okpala probably did not know about the issues between Ekeji and the Maigari board before reporting his case to Ekeji. This aggravated his case before the leadership of the federation. He may be forgiven. We need a truce to move on peacefully otherwise Keshi should be advised to resign. This is because the federation is so bitter that he may not enjoy their support any more and what will suffer will be our football and not Keshi. If a coach doesn’t have the support of his federation he will likely fail. But I know that you can help Nigeria manage the success of the 2013 Nations Cup and the road to the 2014 World Cup. Sir, kindly intervene, make all to see reason to work together to qualify for the World Cup and go and do well in Brazill. I am hopeful that your action will help our football.

Thank you and May God bless you as I await your quick intervention, sir.

Hello all, let's save Nigerian football from being plunged into wilderness again. The NFF have already started executing their evil plans by sacking 2 coaches from the back-room staff without consulting Keshi. They are planning to query Keshi on his return from holidays and generally make life difficult for him. This will definitely lead to Nigeria not qualifying for the World cup in Brazil 2014 because the NFF will be working at cross purposes with the Coach. Let's show these guys that football belongs to the fans and not some idle board members. Let them feel the effect of our fans power! Post a reply and let's get this on the FP please!
