Dwayne Johnson is healing well and fast after having emergency surgery on Monday, took to repair torn abductor and abdomen muscles after his WWE Champion title match against winner John Cena.

The star posted a photo of himself on his Twitter account, in which he appears in his hospital bed, wearing a a Superman shirt.

“Surgery a success! Dr. repaired 3 hernial tears (fun pain). Superman is on the mend”, the Pain & Gain star wrote.

Dwayne Johnson also joked when he announced his trip to the hospital: “Saw my Dr. who had to push my intestines back through the tear in my abdomen. Kinda romantic. #Bringiton”.

The title fight took place on April 7 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey and was watched by 80,000 people. The match was apparently tough one for the 40-year-old star. It even cause Johnson to miss the “Pain & Gain” premiere in Los Angeles. Director Michael Bay wished him to get well from the red carpet: “Dwayne’s hurt tonight. He was pushing it too hard. [He] needs to grow up and stop wrestling 300-pound men”.
