Hello house please help, I gave birth to my child in the UK and stayed over there for 3 months before coming back to Nigeria with my baby. In the supplementary information form, am I supposed to fill that as a trip for the child outside the country of residence (Nigeria) or leave it blank? |

Hello House, This is for the Express entry hopefuls. I just read the new guidelines starting January 1. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/criteria-crs.asp This is a link to the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) criteria with a maximum of 1200 points http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp Ferdimako, you have always maintained the EE will be smoother and easier. What are your thoughts on this, especially in comparison with the present regime? House? 1 Like |

Highlyfavoured3:My assumption is you are referring to the IMM 5562 form (supplementary information...Your travels. Not sure I understand your question but I'm sure you can put Maternity leave/vacation for your purpose of travel... For the baby....you don't need to fill any details for the baby if he/she is less than 18 years old. Cheers |

Damkollins and other experienced seniors please help, My original birth certificate shows my middle name in full , surname in full but my firstname as just the initial. Please do i need to swear an affidavit to support this birth certificate or do i need to get a new birth certificate from NPC. Your prompt advise is needed. |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by damkollins(m): 10:48am On Dec 11, 2014 |
misspink:So many options you can use to buttress your points. Rather than doing affidavit, its better to get the NPC attested birth certificate. Also,if you have your primary school certificate that have your full name details and parents name on it with the inclusion of your birth date on the it,you can include it with the "birth certificate" and write a cover letter to explain it. In all,I'll advice you to just get the NPC birth certificate that will need no explanation as fast as you can. Cheers. |

damkollins: my birth certificate has my middle name. I stopped using my middle name in all my certificates after school cert. I applied with it and I have gotten my PER. It worked for me, but its better you follow damkollins advice. My opinion. |

Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by ANBAKO: 5:09am On Dec 12, 2014 |
profb: You need to swear an affidavit. Take the affidavit to NPC state headquarters in Surulere. You will get it after 2 days...It costs like 5k (Cannot remember exactly how much I paid) I dont know the office address but it just next to NYSC state headquarters on Bab Animashaun street. Good luck. |

Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by Nobody: 11:04am On Dec 12, 2014 |
ferdimako: Why are you going back to Oz? Are the new EE regulations not favourable? Try taking PTE or TOEFL, as they are now acceptable. Most people have testified to getting better scores in PTE, unlike IELTS. |

Hello Solomonwise, I recently applied for the Canadian FSW Program. Fortunately and unfortunately for me, I just got layed off in current employment in a telecommunication company (Actually I'm a telecoms engineer) as a result of downsizing. My challenge is this, I contacted my boss and the HR requesting for reference letter, they both said they can't issue me a reference letter because I'm no longer a staff of the coy. I pleaded with them but they have refused still. I want to ask you, what will you suggest I do now, because I don't really know what to do about it. I'm suppose to get a proof of fund of about 2M in my account and then print out a bank statement. I don't have up to that in my account now. I was given an option to present a DEED OF GIFT stating that someone dashed me the 2M and the money will be in my account. I have made arrangement for this likewise but the agreement is that I refund the money back to the owner after getting the bank statement. My question is this again, if I tender this bank statement to the Canadian government, do they take the pain to make research on the information you are giving to them if precisely you have that money in your account. I will appreciate it if you help me trash this issue.Thank you. |
