pleae check a new post i will put up. i have uploaded ielts materials for people to use. please, encourage your wife about it. i am so glad about the news i just heard about your HND. it shows that our country is seriously far behind. And to other people with other degrees and professional certifications, i will advise the get them assessed by WES or CES so they can have more valuable points. good luck bro emmanok24: |

CHERIPH: As long as he has a certificate, he can apply. But on a more serious note, advice your friend to go and tackle the discrepancy with the school. Also, the scheme is now called Express Entry; not "Federal Skilled Worker ..... Visa " as you mentioned. 1 Like |

Kirri: They have apps for the IELTS on android as well.. Although I prefer the Android version because its more tacky. It will be a good idea to treat sample questions where ever and however you lay your hands on them.. All the best |

damkollins: Bro am here again, after the successful registration of the ielts,do we need to send the copy of the I'd to the test centre in ikoyi, hoping to hear from you soonest |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by damkollins(m): 1:46am On Apr 29, 2015 |
bayulll01:Not sure I really understood your question but as far as I am concerned, you dont need to send anything to the test center. They will contact you about 7 days to the exam date to notify you of the exam venue and where you will do your listening test session. If you are making payment for registration through draft, you may need to contact their office but if not,no need. You may re-phrase your question if it has not been addressed. Cheers. |

Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by scrollmeout(m): 7:03am On Apr 29, 2015 |
bayulll01: If you uploaded your passport bio data page during registration paid your fees online successfully, you can expect a payment receipt in a two or three days at the latest. Then, you wouldn't need to submit your documents at IELTS. You can expect a test notification just like Damkollins explained. However, if you choose to pay offline using a bank draft and/ or you didnt upload your identity document during online registration, you'll have to submit your disc to BC in person. I hope this answers your question. |

I salute the courage of those going through the express entry and wanting to relocate to Canada, I would also like to do the same thing but the question I keep asking myself is, would I get a job when I get there? How sure are we that when we finally get selected for the PR we would be able to secure a job in Canada…it’s just my thought. Maybe am been pessimistic. Is someone in this forum or someone in the forum that has a relative of friend that went through the FSWP that can actually explain what it takes to get a job in Canada because I have not heard of anyone getting a job through the Canadian job bank. |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by wordsmithng: 10:13am On Apr 29, 2015 |
Edgeoftomorrow: Don't be scared. Obviously looking for a job in any country (civilised countries like Canada and America) can be tedious and hectic and slightly frustrating but the thing you need to understand is the nuances, culture of CV writing and how you behave and talk at interviews. I have an inlaw (Retail Store manager for UGG) in Edmonton, a friend (Rig Operator for Baker Hughes), a couple of friends who work in Banks, an environmental guy (earning 1000dollars a day!). Just be confident in your ability and pray ceaselessly. God will see you through when you eventually get there. 1 Like |

shamecurls: Google Noc code 2011. When you have logged on the site, type Telecommunications Engineer in the search engine, it will bring out lists of related positions and the position itself, look at the details for all and determine which one suits your present job details. It will also come with the job code |

Good evening. Wanted to go for fswp but decided to wait for EE. I have a bsc with 3years working experience in lecturing and am in my late 20. I wanna write ielts may or June. My question now is, how does one send transcript to wes for evaluation? Can one send soft copy or we send the hard copy directly to them via dhl? Wanna send my transcript and bsc cert for evaluation while I get prepared for ielts. What other things am i to prepare for in other to gather the required points? Thanks |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by Nozzle(m): 10:09pm On Apr 29, 2015 |
twaintoy:Very straight forward process Go to WES website, click on WES Canada (top right hand corner) Go to Educational Credential Assessment ECA for CIC Get started Click on Apply, fill up the form, Pay the fees online Get your ECA Number...scribble it down somewhere. Go to your School, Tell them your want to apply for transcript and for what purpose Chances are that other people processing EE have also done similar thing so they probably have a format/template already. You need to include your ECA Number on your transcript, so they can identify that the transcript is yours, You will send the hard copy, sealed and addressed with your ECA Number WES will prepare your ECA and send you electronic copy to your email. and that's all you need for the EE process |
