Scourge the internet, use google. If you're good in access then you've atleast got past the initial stage of understanding databases.

You're probably going to retrieve and manipulate some records in it right?

I would advise you use MySql and PHPMyadmin.

Nope, just google it. You'll definitely find online

if u hav prgmg skills i'd have said u create a mockup database usng object freezing (serialization), concurrency as stop gap until u master a full fledge db(shd handle ur small data size of 750 objects). Or use d net (or torrent search) , dwload ebooks nd software. Read up.

which can be hosted locally in your office.
