A friend of mine did his in Lagos 2 weeks back. He's not a Msc holder. He was called for medicals too. Him and a team mate. He applied to Asset Maintenance. All I know is, fear not, do not be afraid or let your heart be troubled, but keep looking up to God's word. Our calls will surely come In Jesus Name.

Open application comes at the stage of application received, passed second assessment, and application under review. When you are scheduled for interview your application is no longer open because shell has comfirmed interest in you and are taking your recruitment further. An open application means you can withdraw the application or suspend it and reapply at a future date. Hope that explanation is clear enough.

Did anyone here attend Commercial SRD lately and any feedback received afterwards? Pls Pls Pls respond.I hear Shell now has a stage called "Get to Know You" for commercial grads which takes place after successfully completing SRD. Has anyone been invited for this?

My application has been 'pending interview' since June. It beats me why though(apparently there are lots of people).
Meanwhile, who here applied for the R& position with a second choice of process engineering? Does that have anything to do with the delay in interview?

You can withdraw your application for it not to be considered for further steps in the recruitment process. You can activate that on your profile and Shell will release your profile. When you want it reactivated you inform them to put back your profile, you continue from where you stopped (no tests anymore.

I dont know if the phone interview stage is by the department you chose. Cos mine has been since may too and have even forgotten the 2 departments I choose. Though am just kind of apprehensive about not getting the chance to do that next year due to the 12 month interval period one has to wait if you had applied the year before. But since the application came out again the second time this year, I was thinking it could extend till next year due to delays that might be inherent in the process. Funny enough I had applied already and even done the competency assessment but still in a dilemma. So please, if you were to be in my shoes, considering the whole situation, what would you do?

if you have applied.....nor fear...count 12 months from when you applied....means you can still make it for next yr too...so like a song would say "ogbeni calm down"
