What manner of craze won't one come across in this our part of the world?
An Imam, who is incidentally has also gone on Hajj forgoing Solah for the sake of Play Station games. He even 'plies his trade' in a public game centre. He is such a regular customer there, that some reports say he gambles there.
Before you start citing 'youthful exuberance' as an excuse for him, this Baba is old enough to be a grandpa. Sad again is that he used to be a well-known womanizer before his Hajj curbed that to a minimum for him.
The following issues then come to mind:

>Why hasn't he been relieved of his position, when there are more than capable youths who can do the job well? I have only seen him in the mosque about four or so times in two weeks. He resists adjusting the time of Solah as at when due.

>We have to be sincere about our Hajj to reap the spiritual benefits in it.

>Parents should learn to curb the addictions & bad habits of their children (like refusing to clean up after passing out urine) before it becomes irredeemable.
We ask for Allâh's help.

seriously though, i thought womanizing was allowed and even encouraged in Islam.

Where is this Playstation addicted elderly imam located? It seems unlikely in Nigeria.
