Even though Abia is not living up to rating ,Abia is still better than many of the south western states in terms nof everything , the Maiduguri you are talking of is better and economically stronger than all the south west states except for Lagos which doubles as Nigeria's Commercial capital

Nonsense .50% of revenues from the regions went straight to the federal government ,the bulk of it came from the southwest .infact 7 local governments in ondo state supplied most of the revenue
Also the government was collecting export duties and a lot of corporate taxes from the industrial estates awo built all over the SW.
