unfortunately i am not in nigeria,i sent them a mail and someone responded but since then nothing i followed up with two other emails before deciding to give up,if anything i will rather go for their mastercard which is linked to an account

I have not activated verify by visa before, I just want to do that and the site is not accepting the password I created which is above 8 and less than 16 xters.

What u need do is change ur default web pin to alpha-numeric password, then make sure u are using a pc when u want to activate verify by visa, then proceed, its a user friendly.

Are u close to any uba offices, if so u can easily walk in & make a request, am sure dey will do it on time.

I have done that and tried again, what appeared is ACTIVATION BLOCKED, I don't know what to do again, I think I should give up.

Dat means u av tried it several times & dis happens to all cards anywhere in d world.
Henceforth, whenever u are given a card the 1st step is to change d default password before making use of d card, bt urs can still be rectified if u care, u can send me a mail on eluquenson@yahoo.com

Make sure one of the character is in upper case (capital letter) and also include a number in the password.

when u try it on web & it doesnt work, make sure u try it on atm cos ur previous pin must have been deactivated frm the system, so dont discard when u try on web & it doesnt work.
so if its for atm, then request for a web pin reset bt make it bold to them.

When I got my africard, I changed my atm pin as well as the i-pin, do I still need to do verified by visa before using my card for online payment? I also changed my web login password.

Just finished a transaction,I was re-directed to the verified by visa page where I registered and got my password, easy enough.
