What do u do when a lady ure asking out calls u on phone regularly but keeps telling you to "give her time" when u talk abt being more than a friend?
I feel like moving on but I don't want to make an hasty decision that I may regret cos she seems decent..Its months now though she claims to be single; that she's being hurt in the past bla bla bla... Your take pls! Note-shes 25 and I'm 27.

Like the above poster rightly stated, she is into you already. If i were u I would tell her point blank that, it seems she has chosen to live in the past rather than the present and with that I would move on with my life. Guy, there is no time or point waiting endlessly for a girl whom is indecisive. She should decide on what she wants, if she wants you good and fine and if not, move on. I bet she would run after you thereafter. Don't force her or something cause if she gives in outta conviction from you, she might run to the past at some point or the other when there is trouble between you guys. So, give her space. Lock up! No send her again, if she is really for you, she will come looking for you.

@OP, I've been there b4. Trust me it aint a good position as a man to be in. We as humans always fear the unknown, what is before us always looks like the best there'll ever be - but it's a fallacy. For me, i kept my options open, moved on, didnt call her anymore...found someone even better in many ramifications within weeks and i've never looked back since then.
BTW, she's single till now(as i type)...i hope she aint still dwelling in her past...<hisses>

LATEST! Gave her breathing space and then she called(asked to see me) wanting to know why.. Asked her what I was to her and she asked me to give d answer myself.. Told her point-blank that what I was(friend) ISN'T what I wanted to be; she looked at me and said- "let's give it a try then"... So, thanks house,taking a step back actually worked;wonder why ladies are like this..
