This is an opportunity for any sensible person who desire to speak and even write Yoruba very well. This is how it goes: At the end of every lesson there shall be an assignment to be taken by the students. its almost impossible to learn just by reading it like this, some words are spelt exactly the same but sounds different. pronunciation is the koko. ma lo----go ma lo----don't go ogun----state ogun----medicine ogun-----will ogun-----twenty ogun-----war |

Kola Good thread and thanks! I don't understand the method to show how words should be pronounced though. Maybe you could try spelling out the words phonetically to help. |

Is there a company that you would reccommend that I can buy a CD or DVD from to learn to speak Yoruba. I would love to surprise my husband and speak in his native tounge. Thanks |
