Eeyah, i feel your pain. The reason is mostly money sha, it's a powerful something, @ least you can't tell me that you'll love to live in poverty.

It seems Nigerian artistes are realists and have accepted one fact that many Nigerians are scared of; Nigerian girls are no longer MARRIAGEABLE!!!
Marriage to a Nigerian girl, today, connotes lots of money to satisfy the girl's vain lifestyle, copied off cheap celebrity magazines and t.v shows; excess intimacy to douse her rioting hormones and keep her at home; competition with pot-bellied sugar daddies over who commands her attention(yet they mouth six packs) and daily suprises and stunts to rein in on her.
If marriages today means cash for cohabiting and intimicacy, why go the whole hog to "put a ring on it" and live a life of fidelity and denial when you can spread the love and the seed? Afterall, the girls are ready to be baby mama number 20, as long as the cash is there.
Family values had gone to the dogs, as kids are raised without father figures in their lives and the mothers are too busy chasing Peruvian hair to fill in the void.
Sometimes I wonder what shall become of today's kids in twenty years time, but, alas, I worry too much.
