What is Google drive?
Google Drive is a free service that lets you store all your files
including documents, photos, videos and Google Docs online
and access them anywhere.
With Google Drive you can also create an online form(Contact
us form, Event form or any Form you want your users to fill on
your website), Presentation, Drawing, Docs, Spreadsheet. You
can also save all your files on google drive by uploading them
from your pc or download google drive on your p.c.
How To Create A contact Form or an Event Form On your
site Through Google Drive Without The Knowledge of
Html or Php
STEP1: visit www.google.com/drive Login with your Gmail
Account details (i.e) Your Email and password then log in, if
you don’t have a gmail account sign up and get a gmail
account , after that you can access your drive .
STEP2: To create a form with google drive , after you logged
in to your drive , click on the button “ CREATE” choose Form,
a new tab will open . Choose your form title and theme you
wish to choose then clickOK,
input your form description , Type your Question Title e.g
“Name or Fullname”
Then choose your Question type e.g Text, Paragraph text,
Multiple choice, check boxes ,
choose
the type you want , you can tick Required Question if you want
the field to be an important text that must not be omitted ,
Click Done, if you wish to add more fields to your form click
add item , then repeat the procedure by putting the question
title and question type , follow all this procedure until you are
true with the forms you want to add.
STEP3:After adding all the fields scroll down you can change
the confirmation message to the message you want to display
when ever the users submit with the form, tick the 2 boxes
below then click SEND FORM, Click on embed to get the
code to place on your website , Copy the code to the html page
on your web site and save, Go back to the drive then Click
Done, scroll up then Click “Choose response destination”
Click create and wait now scroll up you will see view
responses, click on it ,another tab will open here you will see a
spreadsheet ,but nothing will inside just because no responses
has been made through your contact form …Now you are
done , all details of the users that submit there message or fill
your form will be saved in your drive with the name you use as
the form name.
Anytime you need the details of those who filled the form just
login to your drive and click on the form name with responses
in front e.g my form name(responses) click on it to to see those
that have filled the form……
