How To Prepare Tomato Stew Without Oil by Stayhealthwise: 4:49pm On May 19, 2013
Ingredients 



Chicken / Beef / Fish

Fresh tomato

Tin Tomato ( Optional )

Pepper

Onions

Seasoning

Curry

Thyme                                      



Method



Blend Tomatoes, Pepper and Onions to form paste.



Boil the Chicken/ Beef or any meat of your choice.



Add seasoning, curry and thyme to the meat.



Add Salt to taste.



Boil till meat is well cooked.



Add Tomato paste to the boiling stock.



Add Tin Tomato after about 10 minutes (Optional)



Allow to boil for about 25 minutes ( for tomato to lose its sour taste)



Taste to make sure it is not sour.



Add seasoning , curry, thyme to taste.



Allow to boil for about 10 Minutes.



Taste ( adjust where necessary )



Stew is ready.

I wonder how this will taste because it looks like simply boiling pepper and adding other ingredients.However i will try it as soon as i can cos its really easy.Thanks for sharing.

My thots too. This is just like boiling ordinary tomato.
@op, if you add your spices that late, they won't be well cooked. MO.

If you boil the tomato well it tastes just fine.just make sure you boil long enough for it to lose its sharp taste
