Wole Soyinka by not attending this burial sends a message of dissent. The book "there was a country" definitely has stirred the hornets nest among the Yoruba's. Wole Soyinka is a tribal jingoist, a cultist and a godless man. He failed in his marriage (s) and have just lost the respect I once had for him. You don't go disparaging your colleague on the pages of a newspaper after his death. Age truly is not synonymous with wisdom neither do white hairs breed morality!!
