Have you heard of or do you know any programmer? What of web designers? Do you know we are humans like you? We are not some SKYNET-powered machine that lives its life from boot to hibernation hacking away at keyboards and loving it (most of us, anyway). We get tired like regular humans, and we need sleep just like you guys.

But then there is this little problem called Internet Explorer. I dunno if you've heard of it but it's quite the PITA! As web developers, we are regularly faced with the challenge of writing good code which can be run by the different browsers out there. It was hard for a while writing the same function in different syntaxes just so the different browsers can understand them. But then standards were set, saw devs writing just one syntax and achieving cross-browser operability.

All browsers complied except Internet Explorer. Now what you get is devs writing thousands of lines of code for Mozilla, Chrome, Opera and Safari, and then repeating the exact thing for Internet Explorer. Very tedious, right? Hence my appeal:

There are, at the moment, over one million websites dedicated solely to IE hate. Google this if you don't believe me. Why does Microsoft have to take devs through all these stress? What's so special about them? You guys will be doing your developers a whole world of good if you replace your outdated IE browsers with either [url=http;//chrome.google.com]Chrome[/url] or Firefox or Safari or Opera.

who use IE this days , I don't even have that crap in my system I only the firefox ie addon for development purposes

Internet explorer:
1. A simple Windows tool which allows the user to browse to Mozilla.com and download Firefox, a web browser.

2. One of the most amazing tools for downloading Firefox

3. No other browser can download Mozilla FireFox like Internet Explorer.

If na you create Microsoft Windows, you no go include your own browser put??

As a developer, I haven't opened IE in years because I am in love with Firefox, but I don't go around hating on Microsoft

It really hurt me having to write source code for sites to display properly on ie.
The only reason ie still tops the charts is because it is by default,the browser that is prepackaged with the most popular operating system in the world!!
Someone please do the netiverse a favor and nuke that browser!!!

Especially with the advent of windows phone, based on latest research, IE9 and 10 are actually making a come back. Of course, Chrome has overtaken Firefox but IE9 and 10, as they are becoming better with respect to web standards, is creeping up.
