Dear Nigerians! Behold your leaders! I am very ashamed to answer the samae country name with these kind of people.#Aged men reasoning and talking like kids. El Rufai, the last job application i wrote was to the NLNG: the policy made by greedy men like you required that I must state my state of Origin a the back of my application envelop. I sent the application anyway but lost faith in Nigeria from that day and dutifully embraced the Bifran Dream! In Biafra, we do not wait for handouts. We not beg people to appoint us anything. We work hard! El Rufai, do you hear me? We work hard to earn our living. Tell your daughters to become creative. tell them to become imaginative. I don't need any employment. I rather employ people. Instead of thinking of who will employ and your entire family, why not start thinking of who you can employ? 4 Likes |

are his daughters only people with masters degree that don have a job? he is just blabbing because he has the opportunity to talk. the daughters might not want to work where they are paid about a 100k per month in some government agencies, they will be looking for NNPC and CBN PTDF and co. as if its there birth rite. |

wowo2: It is a major time bomb truly. All those that think it is a joke are either still in school or are of school age but not attending school. It is a serious issue, even fortifying yourself with professional qualifications like ICAN doesn't help much. Jobs are needed urgently, if not crime will be like drinking water soon. 1 Like |

El-Rufai or what do u call ursef, u are an idiot. So u are one of those encouraging using connection to get job at the expense of the less fortunate unemployed graduates of Nigeria. Infact they will remain UNEMPLOYED FOR LIFE. Maxymilliano: |

My reactions are as follows: 1. He said he is yet to get jobs for his daughters. Should he be the one to get jobs for them or the children should secure jobs for themselves? 2. El-Rufai was in government before. What did he do to address unemployment then? Or is he saying that unemployment started after he left government? 3. Are u sure the children and their father are not choosy about the kind of employment they want because many private schools will gladly employ them as teachers. 4. Are they too young to marry in a region where 15yr olds get married to senators and governors? Then let El-Rufai marry them off so they can be employed raising kids for their husbands 5. With all the money El-Rufai made in government, he should be able to set these children up in business. Or are the children so ill-equipped (street wise ) that they cannot run any business? They can also lean a trade – Tailoring (or fashion designing to glorify it), hair dressing etc. 6. Finally, this should serve as a lesson to those who go into government and forget the yearning of the masses. Whatever goes round surely will come round. No matter how much a man steals, it can never and will never be able to provide for him and all his family members. 7. By the way, my two daughters finished from a private University four years ago and have not been able to secure jobs so one of them went into business as distributor to some snacks producing company while the other has become a full time writer. She already has three children novels to her credit. On top of it, I’ve married one of them off and is already employed making babies for the husband! El-Rufai should go and do likewise 9 Likes |

Maxymilliano: I kind of disagree with you on calling him irresponsible because he is trying to get job for his children. On the contrary, responsible parents will always assist their children in their job search by the way of speaking to friends and advising their kids. I still remember the troubles my parents had to go through in trying to search for a job for me (although they were not sucessful in the search but, anyways, i found my own job). A parents responsibility to their children doesnt stop at graduation. And why would you call the children irresponsible when he did not mention that the kids are not looking for jobs on their own too. 5 Likes |

Your college degree doesn't entitle you to a job. It doesn't entitle you to a paycheck. It doesn't entitle you to VIP service. It entitles you to nothing other than the realization that you've been duped by a trillion dollar industry that survives by keeping you shackled to an age-old ideal that no longer works in the modern age. 4 Likes |

IbnTimothy: rather unfortunate there is no unlike button. i dont know how old you are, but i am sure that when you will know more about the duties and responsibilities of parents as you approach that stage of your life. By the way, don't get me wrong- i am not saying he should use his "power/connection" to force/persuade pple to give his daughters the jobs they are either not qualified for or jobs where there are more qualified candidates. |
