I just saw this wedding video and it literally brought a few tears to my eyes. His love for this beautiful woman lead him back to God. He was not really a christian and Christianity was a nominal issue for him but it took his mom passing away for him to realize that he was weak and broken and needed to be fixed.

Well you only get married once. It also depends on status like in her case her dad was a Dr so it is kinda expected for them to have a big wedding. If we have the money then why not, if we are short in dough would rather have a better honeymoon and a small close knit wedding. My bro recently got married and he had abt 500 guest so it was a very big wedding. But then again i don't think i want as big as a wedding but who knows. How about you?

Yes but some people do not have to do them consecutively. You can have traditional first and then the church a bit later on.

I agree. I have seen to many "elaborate" weddings only for the couple to go through financial crisis within a year to two of the wedding. I met one in Sept last year who are struggling financially now.

I pray God blesses their union... 'Cause marriage things no be beans...
