Your not even ashamed, comparing your house with your neighbours house, Tell me Nigeria's history and Britain History, last time i checked Britain colonised African for many years, running away from your home country to pay taxes in a foreign country and dissing your home country from abroad, expecting Angel Michael to fall from heaven and turn Nigeria to Britain, am not saying we are there yet, but if project Nigeria is to work it will work with young and brave minds, it will not work through scaredy cats that ran abroad for belle affairs undecided undecided

All the people condemning naija shouls STFU juh. The bad roads, epileptic power, bad police etc made you who you are. The only reason you appreciate where you are at is because you know its worse elsewhere. The only reason you are hardworking and grounded at what you do is because of your naija experiences so thank God for having had the privilege to live in nigeria. If Nigeria is so bad, quit going home for xmas every year then. Some of you bigots go home 5 times a year and keep complaining. If it's that bad, how about you quit going there and STFU. Home is wherever you call it.

Really home is where your heart is but coming home years after internship and medical board wasn't hard cos I'd made up my mind that no matter what if we all keep saying naija is bad and we all want to relocate those people will get tired and start seeing you as competition ( I know wetin my eye see when I want to get a place for my medical residency).
The facilities are really good and the society is sane no doubt but we can get to that point too with just a little from me..and a little from you.
It might not be in my time or even in my childrens time but it will start from me and that apart I want my children to be able to have a feel of both world just as my parents did for me, the choice to now settle where is up to them. But at least in appreciatting what works and seeing what doesn't work they can bring about the needed change and make things work.
I came home immediately after my residency and I got a good job..and then better ones came too and I'm doing fine. And my wife, a Flight crew with an international airline still makes her been a Nigerian a known fact wether they like her or hate her, no matter how yellow her skin becomes.
A lot of my friends want to come back too but they are apprehensive but truth be told no matter how many years you spend there you will be linked to this country, your children will have the same link..so also your wife and there's nothing you can do about it. Wether you become a champion in your field or a terrorist..you'd always have a prefix or suffix that is Nigerian.
My own principle is 'if I'm crawling now a time will come when I'd be walking'.

Ma Nig...I dont even live in the U.K....and i use negro all the time...instead of trying to show off the little..to nothing that Nigeria has....it would be best for Nigerians to be humble and seek for advice from developed countries and Diasporas telling them to stay away...wont help Nigeria's situation..chalay....but i have to be honest with you...i dont see Nigeria ever becoming a country fit for 21 century...Nigerians are just toooo damn corrupted and inefficient...but I guess this kinda situation is good for some people...not me

I will come back to Nigeria permanently when our police officers are trained properly, armed with pistols instead of assault rifles, equipped with radios, equipped with tazers to subdue suspects without the use of lethal force while their assault rifles remain inside their car. This is how it is done in other civilized countries.Nigerian police are too militarized hence why they exchange gunfire with our soldiers and kill civilians at will.

Don't mind these people jare. Let them continue to be in denial and keep thinking Nigeria will be great in their life time. All the government officials who are embezzling money are not residing in Nigeria. They are only in Nigeria to steal money. They have their famlies in UK, USA, South Africa, Canada and other developed nations. Kalu, Atiku, El-Rufai, Obasanjo, Gbenga Daniel, Soludo and co have their mansions overseas where they live comfortably. It will take Nigeria another 45 years to be as developed as South Africa. Nigerians between the ages of 20-60 will never see Nigeria well developed in their life time.

See your mouth. It took the police 30 minutes to appear at the scene where a soldier was killed on a busy road for that matter WHILE in naija those two guys would have been dealt with before 25 seconds sef..

Errrm, For those of you who do not like reading long posts, let me summarize:
THIS GUY SAID "HE NEVER WISHES TO COME HOME"

He who knows not and knows not that he knows not is a, ****

no it did not take 30mins for police to arrive, it took 14 mins for ARMED police t arrive.
u see, in d uk not all police carry guns, dis is to prevent accidental discharge and trigger happy police killing pple.
(common in nigeria )

if na naija dat dead body will be there for days and weeks. no body go remove am.

pple go deytalk like say we neva go the naija before, i came last november there wasa dead body near ojota where buses load to benin, d thing don swell nobody remove am.

I am married here with two kids. I do want to come home. As a matter of fact, I have a house going on and more than 70% complete but I am not ready to complete it unless situation improves in Nigeria. I do want to be coming home with my kids every Christmas but I don't want to come there and have to sleep with one eye open.

The last census enumeration pegged Nigeria to be 120million valid people. You see why you are insignificant like a droplet into the ocean. Nobody will even recognise you at the Murtala Mohammed international airport.

Secondly, whether you finish your house or not, I can vouch it isn't the best in the neighbourhood so stop giving excuses for inconsistency.

Finally, the likes of Atiku, Babangida, oshiomhole, adenuga still live in Nigeria among the populace without running to abroad inspite of their enormous wealth and affluence. They are proud to be Nigerians and we, the masses, the middle class and the rich class are all working hard to make Nigeria a better place for all. We mustn't all run away with no country to call our own!

You just left the shore and suddenly realise Nigeria is no good. Relocated family to another black nation the citizens worked assiduous to stabilise. you want to be in heaven but you don't want to work the effort.

I will come back to Nigeria permanently when we have numerous hospitals like these ones in South Africa:

South Africa is also building a brand new hospital right now which will be ready in 2014,it will cost billions of rands and will be the most technologically advanced Hospital on the African continent. It is being fitted with the most technologically advanced medical instruments in the world.Below is a diagram of what it will look like.
