Date: 2013-05-27 A middle aged man was this afternoon shot close to Post Office roundabout in Ilorin. The man, who according to reports is a student of Kwara State Polytechnic was shot in the leg. According to eyewitnesses, the student was shot by a policeman escort attached to a bullion van. Students, in protest, took over Muritala Muhammed way from Maraba to Challenge. Bonfires were set which prevented vehicular and human traffic. The situation is getting out of control ......
