Why will Amaechi whom Jonathan gave all his support to become Rivers state Governor turn round to stab him at the back. Amaechi is aware that Jonathan wants to come for 2nd term, instead of Amaechi to support him, he is busy junketing every where to become a vice president to gworo chewing Sule Lamido as a presidential candidate. Amaechi is against the south by trying to truncate Jonathan's ambition and giving power back to the boko haram ravaged north. he wants to be the VP to be playing 2nd fiddle to Lamido. Why will Jonathan be happy with him? did Amaechi not complete his second term as Governor with the support of south south people, including the president. he has allowed his personal and selfish ambition to becloud his sense of reasoning. He will be thrown out of PDP, he will join ACP that will never be registered untill 2015 election is over. A case is already in court with the first ACP who applied to INEC for registration. Even if the party is registered, Omehia celestine, who is the leader of ACN in Rivers and an arch enemy of Amaechi will never give him space to operate. Amaechi should put himself in Jonathan's shoes and tell the whole world if he will be happy if another person does that to him.

Course tittle: CHM 215 (THERMODYNAMICS OF POLICTICAL CHEMISTRY)
TIME ALLOWED: 72 Hours.
QUESTION 1.
In a reaction involving 19g of Amaechium sulphate and 16g of Jangline carbonate, 2015g of Forumium Governo acid was produced.
i. Calculate the percentage purity of the product, assuming the reaction took place under JEGA standard condition.
ii. Assuming that 3g of Akpabio Chloride was added using Goodluckium solution, calculate the mass of Amaechium sulphate that would have been needed for the reaction to be endothermic?
iii. What is the colour of Akpabio Chloride before and after the reaction?
iv. Calculate the molecular weight of the reactants and products with respect to their places on the electrochemical series of quality leadership and state which is stronger.
v. Using their age, prove that Jangline is weak and would need more solution of Goodluckium nitrate to be able to precipitate Amaechium from the reaction.
vi. Why is it that the solution produced can't react with APCium Nitrate but would react violently with Turkia PDP (5) Jonite?
Goodluck to you!
Is this 200 level or 600?

Does the governor's forum add any value to the life of Nigerians, other than for them to fratenize and improve their lots at the detriment of the down troden masses.......NGF should be dissolved, the governors should channel their energies towards improving the life of the common man on the street....

Re: Jang Opens New NGF Secretariat by Nobody: 8:11pm On May 28, 2013
For anyone who is still unclear about how Governor Amaechi got elected, the account provided below covers all bases.

I will leave it up to you to make up your own minds grin

According to the sources, the Constitution of the NGF which was produced in 2008-09 by a committee chaired by then Kaduna State Governor Namadi Sambo provided that the chairman will serve for two years and also that the post will rotate between North and South. Other members of the committee that drafted the constitution included Babatunde Fashola and Gabriel Suswam. Sometime last year however, the sources said, forum chairman Governor Rotimi Amaechi circulated copies of a new constitution for the forum which expunged the rotation principle. This new document, the sources said, was never debated let alone adopted as the forum’s constitution.

In February this year, Northern governors had a meeting where they noted that Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi’s term will end in April and that it will be their turn to produce a successor. Governor Ibrahim Shema of Katsina State then indicated his interest to vie for the position.

A month later, a meeting was held at the residence of Benue State Governor Gabriel Suswam in Abuja to review the Northern Governors’ preparations for the upcoming election. At that meeting, Jigawa State Governor Sule Lamido and his Kano State counterpart Rabi’u Kwankwaso said even though Shema had indicated his interest to contest, he should not be fielded because he is arrogant. Adamawa State governor Murtala Nyako added that Shema also does not honour invitations to attend other people’s occasions and so should not be fielded
.

Shortly afterwards, some of the governors led by Suswam and Akwa Ibom’s Godswill Akpabio persuaded Bauchi State governor Isa Yuguda to seek the post, saying he has better relations with all the governors. By then, matters had been beclouded by Governor Rotimi Amaechi’s declaration that he would seek re-election. Entreaties to him by the Northern governors to respect the rotation principle were rebuffed. In the week preceding the meeting, intense efforts were made to persuade Shema and Yuguda to “reconcile” and allow one of them to emerge by consensus, which was how the forum usually produced its leaders.

Up to that point, the Northern governors still believed that Amaechi would ultimately step down and make way for a Northern chairman. They pointed out that at no time in the past did the forum ever hold elections to choose its leaders. Its first chairman Abdullahi Adamu of Nasarawa was chosen by consensus, as was his successor, Obong Victor Attah of Akwa Ibom. Attah too was succeeded by Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki of Kwara who was chosen by consensus. Amaechi too, the sources said, was chosen by consensus at a meeting in Ilorin at which only 12 governors were present.

Last Friday morning, hours before the NGF election, most of the Northern Governors met at the Niger State Governor’s Lodge. It was reported there that Shema took the hard stand that “if Yuguda contests, I will contest and if Yuguda withdraws, I will withdraw.” Northern Governors’ chairman Dr. Babangida Aliyu then asked both men to excuse the meeting. When they left, a North East governor said, “Baba Jang, we should support you for this position. You are the right person.” No one opposed the suggestion, and that was how Plateau State Governor Jonah Jang was chosen as the Northern consensus candidate for the NGF chair.

^^^Despite expressions of disquiet, it is clear that a number of Northern governors were not unduly perturbed by the thought of an electoral contest. President Jonathan's rejection of the so-called "zoning arrangement" in his earlier quest for the highest office in the land had, no doubt, seen to this cheesy

Shortly after Friday prayers, Akpabio summoned a meeting of the PDP Governors Forum at the Akwa Ibom State Lodge. There, Jang was presented as the consensus candidate. Akpabio then calculated that Jang was guaranteed 19 Northern votes, 3 Igbo governors’ votes, another 4 Niger Delta governors’ votes plus one Yoruba vote, apparently that of Ondo State Governor Olusegun Mimiko. This adds up to a total of 27 votes for pro-Jonathan candidate Jang, or so Akpabio thought.

^^^Akpabio was clearly deluded here.

By 4’oclock, all the PDP governors were at the Rivers State Lodge venue for the election but a meeting of the 10 APC governors was taking place at the Lagos State Lodge. The first sign of trouble for Akpabio’s calculation was that APC governors from the North attended the opposition governors’ meeting, which went on until 5pm and delayed the NGF meeting’s start by an hour. Word also filtered through that the Northern consensus had collapsed because the APC block had decided to back Amaechi.

^^^Anyone can see that "consensus" - much like the "rotational agreement" Akpabio's principal rightfully ditched - was destined to die a premature death.

When the APC governors finally arrived together at the Rivers Lodge, the atmosphere became rowdy. They demanded that there should be an election right away. Amaechi strongly supported their position and used his position as chairman to ram it through. Akpabio and his supporters opposed a vote, saying there should be consensus. In the end, there was a vote but the pro-Jonathan governors later said the atmosphere was rowdy and they did not trust the declared results.

^^^Sensing that victory was slipping away, Akpabio mounts a rearguard assault in favour of "consensus" once more...but alas this was all too little, too late cheesy

How did Rotimi Amaechi get 19 votes ?He apparently got the votes of the 9 APC governors [Gaidam was absent and did not send his deputy] plus his own. Others that the pro-Jonathan camp believes voted for Amaechi include his friend, Enugu State Governor Sullivan Chime, Kwankwaso, Lamido, Babangida Aliyu, Murtala Nyako, Sokoto State Governor Aliyu Wamakko, Kwara State Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed and Kebbi State Governor Sa’idu Dakingari. That still leaves two votes unaccounted for.

Last Saturday, when Governor Jang held an “inaugural” meeting of the forum in his capacity as the “chairman” proclaimed by the pro-Jonathan camp, 18 governors attended, two more than the 16 votes he got. Who were the two men who ran with the hare and hunted with the hound? Our sources provided some clues, but we cannot mention them here due to lack of space.

^^^One of the other two unaccounted for was Governor Elechi of Ebonyi, according to a different newspaper.

Hey Slim, just wanted to clarify here that even though (as u say since I don't know anything about it nor can I confirm)that Gov Ameachi came in as a consensus candidate & at the time; the NGF Constitution was silent on any other method; the simple fact that all the governors agreed/carried out the act of election thereby legitimizing the said additional clause in the Constitution has made his(Gov Ameachi)emerging as the winner (if true) totally legit & legal in the eyes of the law.
In other words, if a coups succeeds its legit, like Papangida theory. If the coups fails, execute all the coupists, Papangida theorem. Now it has failed, so Amechi carries the can.

Humblegoodman: Helo slimghost, you need to understand the fundamental principles governing the office of the NGF chairman. Understand that there was hitherto nothing like election in their constitution. it has been a consensus arrangement by all the Governors. Elections have never been held from the onset.Amaechi shot himself in the foot by hurriedly amending the constitution unilaterally for elections to be held without consulting other Governors. It doesn't work that way. even David mark cannot all by himself change the Nigerian constitution because he is the senate president.there are procedures, rules and principles laid down. that election purportedly held that day was a sham. its null and void because it is not enshrined in the NGF constitution. Jonah Jang was adopted by all 19 northen governors, majority of the south south Governors and south east governors also adopted him.Amaechi presided over an election of which he was a candidate. Things don't work that way. he is not above the law. let him clean his own poopoo by himself. he cannot win this fight. several odds are against him.' he who the gods want to destroy, they first make him mad' Amaechi should be wise!

Why didn't they object to the elections then or if he had won would he had known that it was suppose to be by consensus? Did you go to primary school?
slimghost:

And your point is? Its obvious you have comprehension problem. Am not disputing the validity of the election exercise, all i asked was "how did Amaechi become the NGF chairman in the first place?" but i guess you cant answer that. FYI, dude came there as a consensus candidate as no election was held (the constitution they adopted had no room for elections). But guess what, the power drunk fool rushed and amended the constitution giving room for elections and re-election without the consent of all the governors. Truth is, he came as a consensus candidate and now Jang is the NGF chairman as a consensus candidate too. Let him deal with it. One problem i have with you is that you always let your hatred for GEJ becloud your sense of reasoning.

truth4meal: I firstly will want to applaud your not disputing the validity of the NGF election unlike the President's goons. I have few salient observations i want to call your attention to : All the participating Governors were duly served noticed of the election without any of them making any " unconstitutional" remarks to the would be election? There is a constitution guiding proceeds of the NGF which is clearly available for all the governors - why didn't any of them say "election" was lured into their constitution for Amaechi's selfish ambition? Why will the governors who have the backing of the presidency with all the Abuja might allow Amaechi "rushed and amended the constitution". If election is an illegality in the NGF why did Jang accept his nomination against the incumbent? This is a democracy and the man (Abdulsalam) who initiated this 4th republic was a consensus president - no election but he introduced election and democracy.
You have a point, both camp set Amaechi up because of his lusty and crude ambition. For example Fashola,Oshiomole,Rochas and Soludo are all eyeing the VP slot that Amaechi is converting to himself. He was set up by fellow desperados .QED
