Applications are required from suitably qualified, experienced and self-motivated individuals to fill vacancies that exist in middle level officer positions in the following areas of our operations. Branch Managers (RB241) Retail Marketing Officers (RB242) Foreign Operations (FO243) Domestic Banking Operations (DBO244) Internal Audit (IA245) ADVERTISED POSITIONS Branch Managers (RB241) Successful candidates would be responsible for the following job responsibilities: Provide strong leadership and direction to staff in the branch with a view to contributing to the attainment of the Bank’s business objectives. Articulate successful business strategies to provide customers with superior products and services that will ensure optimal result for the Bank. Create, manage, and drive both existing and prospective retail business relationships with a view to growing market share. Design, execute, and coordinate marketing activities that will constantly increase the branch’s liability and risk-assets positions. Identify and develop new lines of business, targeting untapped business segments and boost the branch’s overall result. Identify and coordinate the needs of customers through the available banking delivery channels, while ensuring superior customer service which would constantly exceed expectations. Prepare the branch as outlet for selling the Bank’s products/services, in liaison with product engines. Supervise, drive, and coordinate the branch operations staff and processes, especially as support platform for business development functions. Train and motivate staff in reaching the set targets and develop customer-oriented approach to service delivery Our preferred candidates should: Have a good first degree (minimum of second class lower)/HND (minimum of Upper Credit). Higher degree and professional qualification will be an added advantage. Minimum of 6 years experience in relationship management in a bank. Skills requirement The candidate must also possess: Strong leadership, supervisory and analytical skills. Strong business and managerial skills. Depth in the knowledge of the Nigerian financial system, especially the banking industry. Strong understanding of basic branch operations. Team building and conflict resolution. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite (Knowledge of Banking Applications will be an added advantage). Identify and develop new lines of business, targeting untapped business segments, which would boost the branch’s profitability. Identify and attend to the needs of customers through available banking delivery channels, while ensuring superior customer service which would constantly exceed expectations. Our preferred candidates should: Have a good first degree (minimum of second class lower)/HND (minimum of Upper Credit). Higher degree and professional qualification will be an added advantage. Minimum of 3 years experience in relationship management in a bank. Skills requirement The candidate must also possess: Strong leadership, supervisory and analytical skills. Sound business sense and managerial skills. Sound understanding of basic branch operations. Team building and conflict resolution. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite (Knowledge of Banking Applications will be an added advantage). Response to reconciliation queries. Reconciliation returns and report generation. Reconciliation of outstanding issues. Response to budget queries. Our preferred candidate should: Have a good first degree in a related discipline (minimum of second class lower)/HND (minimum of Upper Credit). Have a minimum of 4 years experience in the Banking or Finance industry. Possession of ACA or ACCA would be an added advantage. Skills requirement Good accounting skills. Excellent analytical skills. Leadership and supervisory skills. Team building and conflict resolution skills.
