What is wrong with going to Pakistan? There are many Nigerian professionals working for different multinationals who may end up in Pakistan, There are many students,,,, there used be serious military schools attended by Nigerians there. some businessmen on genuine trade visits, ,A good Paki friend might invite you over.. Its not like the whole of Pakistan is exploding. People who travel to these places have different reasons,mostly positive. You cant just dismiss all of them like that.

ISLAMABAD (APP): The newly elected Executive members of Nigerian Community in Pakistan (NCP) were sworn in at the residence of Nigerian High Commissioner Ambassador Dauda Danladi Mni.

The Oath taking ceremony was largely attended by Nigerian Diplomats, businessmen, students and Nigerian Community both from Lahore and Islamabad.

Nigerian High Commissioner, Dauda Danladi Mni appreciated the democratic spirit shown by the Nigerian Community in Pakistan and thanked former President, Nigerian Community in Pakistan (NCP) Isaac O A Omomolesho as well as officials of Nigeria High Commission for conducting free, fair, and transparent elections.

High Commissioner, Dauda Danladi Mni said some of the Nigerian prisoners would soon be released from Pakistani jails to enable them to meet their children, relatives and start a new life in Nigeria.

He said over 50 Pakistani Industrialists and Entrepreneurs would be visiting Nigeria to set up their industries in Nigeria.

“Soon Pakistan-Nigeria Business Forum be constituted through NCP to maintain a liaison with Nigerian businessmen in Nigeria,” he added.

He said Nigerian High Commission has decided to establish ‘Nigerian Village’ in Pakistan for which efforts are underway to acquire land. The ‘Village’ would be a true manifestation of Nigerian Culture to the people of Pakistan.

Islamabad: The Nigerian businessmen based in Islamabad led by Francis Onyisi, President of Nigerian Community in Pakistan visited Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI) to promote the cause of Nigeria in Pakistan.

Francis Onyisi said that Nigerian Community in Pakistan is determined to join hands with Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry to further strengthen the efforts of Nigerian High Commissioner to Pakistan, Dauda Danladi Mni who is keen to establish Pakistan-Nigeria Youth Economic Forum. He said that Nigeria offers great investment opportunities to Pakistan as well in a number of areas including oil and gas, minerals and mining, textile, agriculture and livestock.

Other members of the delegation including Isaac Omomolesho, Obasi Chukwu, Bolanle Afolabi, John Smith Okoro, Adibe Chinwendu and Ubaka Udenwa also discussed the areas of their interests as well as investment opportunities between the both countries.
