[color=#006600][/color]Miss Nigeria Ghana beauty pageant is designed for young Nigerian ladies between the ages of 18 and above schooling or living in Ghana. The pageant is aimed at organising these ladies towards a new order of projecting Nigeria image in Ghana and creating a platform for general entertainment. It is also aim at promoting Nigerian rich cultural heritage and its diversity in Ghana and serves as a unifying tool for both Nigerians and Ghanaians.
The pageant is also designed to serves as platform for business owners who want to showcase their products across the two countries.
More importantly, the winner of the pageant embarks on various humanitarian activities (with special focus on Breast Cancer Awareness) across the ten regions of Ghana for one year, in a show of appreciation and giving back to a very accommodating host nation.
The first edition of the event was hosted on October 28, 2012 at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel Accra. The pageant has the endorsement of the Nigerian High Commission in Ghana and is in partnership with the National Association of Nigerian Students, (NANS-Ghana) and powered by Delight Communications and Nigeria Eye Newspaper.
OBJECTIVES
• To foster mutual relationship among Nigerians and Ghanaians thereby promoting peace and tolerance among the two countries
• To present to Ghanaians the true nature of Nigeria goodness and kindness
• To correct the misconceptions about Nigerians in Ghana By creating a new order based on trust, mutual respect and understanding
• To create a more conducive atmosphere for Nigerians living in Ghana
• To create a platform businesses across the two countries to reach out to potential clients
MISS NIGERIA 2013
Miss Nigeria Ghana 2013 with the theme: Beauty made in Nigeria is set to be an improved version of the 2012 edition, which was the maiden edition. MNG 2013 is going to be bigger better and reach out to wider audience.
There shall be 36 finalists representing each states of Nigeria and the event shall be broadcast live on a local TV in Ghana and Nigeria and later broadcast on digital TV to more than 20 million viewers across the globe.
The venue for this year edition is the Ghana National Theatre Auditorium, Accra and it shall be held by the grace of God on October 26 , 2013
The process shall be more interactive and transparent as viewers shall have access to vote and intact with our finalists for about 35 days to the event as there will be regular streaming on the media.
