Hello Good people, I use a toshiba satellite A105 laptop.Problem's that of late, its touchpad heats up excessively .Enough to burn my fingers. How do I solve this o. I actually love using touchpad as against employing a mouse. Thanks in advance. Know I ll get a solution from your replies.

Check if the fan is working or it (the fan) is not clogged

I think the fan's working ok. how do I know if its clogged? Open it up?

Great, try one of these

1. Put the laptop in a deep freezer for about 3 hours before evry use
2. Use your toes instead
3. Go and buy a mouse its 300 naira

grin ROFLMAO  grin  Nna gongo don really so on a high level o!  I'd suggest you try option 3 as suggested by jorge1980 o.  Although like someone mentioned, the vent might be clogged, which can cause the overheating.  Having said that, let me ask you a question: Do you use your notebook on the bed?  Please tell me you don't because if you do that's probably the cause of the overheating.  You always want to place your notebook on a flat surface.  Peace!
