jaymichael: listening to WILD CHILD right now to face the weatherAs a child of God and a person that wants to make heaven, u are not suppose to listen to those songs all wordly songs eg is enya, celine dion, elton john even nigerian songs, because their producers pray demonic prayers on them and cast spells on the music and can hinder u from making heaven, if u doubt me then ask urself how many times do i play worship music in a day than the wordly music, u see that its already controlling u. when evere am worried or realy disturbed, angry, noone to calm me down.... ENYA is always there for me.... the genre of her songs re sumfin else so soft, unique, they make me feel great, to think forward nd also relax my dem mind. People around me used to say that too. Well i call them ignorant. That's the same way i was watching Yanni's tribute album and one guy came into my room, watched the video for some time and then suddenly concluded that Yanni was g.a.y because of his music. I mean can you imagine? Enya is one of my favourite artists. My favourite songs include china roses, carribean blue, book of days, wild child, flora's secret, may it be, if i could be where you are, now we are free (gladiator soundtrack that's if she is the one that made it), adimeus, pilgrim and so many others. |

lorretta u: Phrases likeI that is why its called WORLD MUSIC. Its influenced by local traditional culture. She even stated IRISH MUSIC as one of her influences. Local music are usually influenced by the environment, surroundings and nature. Our local traditional music is most times about FOREST, BUSHES, SPIRITS, ACTIONS OF ANCESTORS WHO LATER BECAME gods, REINCARNATION, GREAT KINGS OF THE PAST, SPIRIT OF MOTHER NATURE etc etc... most of us don't consider our very own sister Angelique Kidjo as singing "demonic" music despite the fact that she confess to be a follower of traditional African religion and she sings so proudly about it. I believe its d vehicle dt got one into trance that will determine what you see. if u are under Grace (pure in heart), no harm. Hmmmm, really got me thinking. A More intelligent post than those who want to "feel among". I schooled in Delsu, Abraka. There was an igbe house "(water spirit worshipers), when they roll out their drums for worship and play their rhythmic beats, some person can't stay. My hostel was an audible distance from the place. Some will hear from a distance and turn away quickly. There were some that became transfixed about n start the "slow graceful dance" a new gal in d hostel was caught in d beats n started "d dance". At the end, she started crying, feeling she has disgraced herself. The greatest trick of the devil is making people believe he does not exist. Orinocco flows does this. Experiment @ ur own risk. What about those relative of ours that couldn't do without "hard" rap of tupac, biggie, snoop n others... Not all minds can handle these music. My own brother was one, but thank God for his mercy.
