Effective 3rd of June Mini buses popularly known as Araba have
been banned from plying the city centre.They are now restricted
To the statelite towns like kubwa,Kuje,Kurudu,Nyanya,etc.
In its stead the Federal capital transport administration will
Introduce more new big buses.Yesterday and this morning,passengers
Going to work Were stranded at various bus-stops in Abuja and its environs.
No adequate planning was made for the provision of more buses by the
Administration before the ban of Araba.'More buses should have been
Introduced before this ban.Why put people into untold hardship.
