Nigerian Governor's Forum Launch Website by moodswing(m): 4:34pm On Jun 04, 2013
Dr. Jonah Jang led Nigerian Governor's Forum has launched an official website www.nigeriangovernorsforum.org

The launch of the website is expected to project and propagate the vision and mission of the NGF as non confrontational, fence mending, bridge building and above all supportive of Mr. President and other leaders in their quest to build a new Nigeria of our dreams and aspirations.

As has been stated unequivocally, the NGF is out to strengthen the democracy we have all painstakingly nurtured over time, serve the collective interest of all Nigerians devoid of selfish tendencies, which could threaten the unity, peace, stability and progress of the nation.

You can visit or log on to www.nigeriagovernorsforum.org today and experience the new leadership direction of the NGF under governor Jonah Jang.

This man Jonah Jang is just trying desperately to force Nigerians to begin to see him as the NGF Chairman. Doesn't this man have conscience at all? Does he even sit down for once and ask himself what makes him the NGF Chairman? New secretariat, new website, yet he lost the election? Na wah for quest for power!

My brother, you weren't in that election. You were only privileged to see a mischievous video recording. If you are a wise man, you wouldn't rest your judgment on such misleading evidence.

Nigerian politicians are VERY efficient when it comes to anything that involves their selfish interest and power tussle.

Just look at the speed with which they got a new office, administrator and launched a new website. Imagine the speed with which Jang and his gang visited Tukur, Sambo and Jonathan.

Look at the speed with which Fasola has gone to court and Rivers state youths and assembly men are showing solidarity with Amaechi. Look at the ingenuity behind the recording of the NGF election.

Why can't these folks use this same efficiency to solve our problems?

While they're at each others' throats, the leaders of other nations are sweating on how to make life more enjoyable for their people. Since 1999, what tangible benefits has democracy brought to Nigerians?

So much time, resources and efforts are spent on tussling and politicking but very little on governance. As usual, it is the people that bear the brunt.

See the irony and contradiction:

Jonathan wants a second term but does not want the same thing for Amaechi at the Governors' Forum
Amaechi, who is enjoying his own second term as a Governor, does not want a scond term for Jonathan

Move over Governors' Forum. Can we just talk about power, roads, education, health and security?

For example, what is the plan on the reform of the Nigeria Police?

You hit the point. Amechi wanted to change the status quo for his selfish end. And the opposition are so ready to ride with anyone who is against the progress of our country.
