What we expect from Buhari are statements that would portray him as a statesman, not as a sectional leader. He as a former Head of State should be talking for Nigeria and not for a part thereof. Anything to the contrary will open him to undue scrutiny,” the source said. Buhari has proving to be a tribal & sectional leader, it isn't a new thing
24 Likes |

Look at you dancing in the street. We are all here as GEJ is practicing full blast tribal governance. The other day he said to Igbos visiting him in Aso Rock that even in the north they were the ones who put him in Aso Rock. All it means is that Nigeria need to search high and low for real leaders come 2015 - definitely not GEJ and perhaps not Buhari. speeder: Now tell me, between GEJ and APC, who's the retardeen and the clueless? 21 Likes |

where is the video evidence? I have said it before and I would say it again. Where is video evidence? Buhari said that calmpdown is too harsh? We know Nigerian journalist would write whatever they are paid to write by corrupt politicians. We know 40 laptops are at work these days. The known death toll from the religious disturbances is nearly 140, with at least another 60 persons injured, some critically. Gongola's acting state governor, Colonel Cyril Iweze, blamed the turmoil on fanatical followers of Moslem fundamentalist Muhammadu Marwa Maitatsine's religious sect. Marwa himself was killed in vicious rioting three years ago, when an estimated 4,000 people died. In disturbances on February 27, the army was eventually called in to quell resistance from thousands of religious fanatics, at least 715 of whom were arrested by security forces. General Buhari visited the Yola Specialist Hospital during his one-day tour of the gutted city, and also met with the Lamido of Adamawa, Alhaji Mustapha Aliyu, to discuss the situation. 29th April 1985 - The NY Times General Buhari Imposes Curfew To End Religious Riots . .BAUCHI, Nigeria, April 28— A dusk-to-dawn curfew has been imposed on the northern Nigerian town of Gombe, where more than 100 people have died in religious riots, an official statement said today. Officials said the deaths occurred in two days of fighting between the police and members of the banned fundamentalist Maitatsine Islamic sect. The Bauchi state government said that anyone violating the curfew ''will be regarded as a fanatic and will be shot on sight.'' The statement said the situation in Gombe was under control and most members of the sect were fleeing the town. A total of 146 suspected members of the sect had been arrested, it added. Shooting broke out at dawn on Friday when the police tried to arrest Yusufu Adamu, the sect's leader in Gombe. Officials said nothing had been heard of him since, and it was unclear whether he was among those killed. The initial police action cleared the sect out of its stronghold, but Nigerian television said many more lives were lost that night when the sect killed local people they had taken hostage. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OtF3fCpw97Y https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0MnIjYfPDSw 9 Likes |

Even the Bible says "From the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh". No matter how APC try to manage his public utterances to pretend he is a national figure, the man will keep disgracing them. The man is a bigot, a fanatic, an extremist and full of hate for Christians. He enjoys the bombings and spilling of blood. That is why he has never sympathised with Christians nor condemn his men when they bomb innocent church members. 41 Likes |

Agbalanze: Buhari just lost my vote.. More from a tribalistic and a religious bigot than a national leader! Shame!! You are not going to vote for him before. Can you paste the full text of the interview where he said the emergency is anti-north? I know Buhari is opposed to the emergency ruling just like other key members of APC. They have all made their position known and their position has been use more of intelligence than force. Force will only result in too much civilian casualty. The question is, can we say we won the war against Boko Haram without capturing their key leaders like Shekau and not apprehending their sponsors? To do this requires more of intelligence than force and this is when we can say the war has been won. 3 Likes |

solomon111: pls tell me how a tribalist would have made a good president. How is he tribalistic? You are the tribalistic ones who doesnt want to hear anything Hausas or north despite the hausas being more accommodating to other people than your tribe. How many ibos are in the north compared to other tribes in your region? Tell me... Go and check Buhari's cabinet members when he was head of state, PTF chairperson, etc. The same man you are accusing of tribalism didnt forgive Maitasini when the later was killing people in the north. His government identified him and he was killed with NO civilian casualty. The same way some us belief Odi invasion by soldiers was unnecessary. And I am sure you were opposed to Odi invasion because you are from that region. Tell yourself how Godly you are if you oppose Odi invasion and you support emergency rule in the north. 3 Likes |

Buhari has never been a national leader, He is a sectional and religious leader and has no place again in Nigeria, We have outgrown Sectional and Religious Politics and Nigerians are tired of it and that's the reason PDP which is a national Party keeps wining and winning. 5 Likes |
