Hello Guys. I am not really into video camera's (not a novice though), but my uncle wants me to help him purchase a very good video camera which will be given to his church. He is looking at price range of about N150,000. I checked some really good ones on amazon (which is where I will buy it), most of them are actually in the 200-350k range, so if anyone knows any good ones that you've probably handled or currently use which will be suitable to give to a church at that price range, i'll like to know.

PS: Note that I have to purchase this camera, latest tomorrow night.

I am also hearing about the difference between NTSC and PAL camcorders. The cameras on Amazon are NTSC and I hear PAL is what we use here. Does this mean an NTSC camera won't work?

If that is the camera you want then whatever you do do NOT buy the HVR-1000U (the NTSC version) buy the HVR-1000E (the PAL version).
