The Idea is such a welcomed one, 't 'll be so ecstasy-filled and enormously stupendous, can't wait to have all tight heads in this field come together

Is it that u don't have better things to do with time or can you just explain to me the motive or essence of the fair? Is it that you want to do it because other sectors are doing it. Haba come off this & let's address the right thing like flushing out d weeds that are inside this precious career, people that can design a website for 10k because they are poor.

Well said... I also believe it will work If we can all collaborate and contribute any effort we feel will be useful towards achieving a successful gathering. Meanwhile, am a newbie to the web designing industry and have found this section very useful as i have already learnt a lot through it.

Wrong man. .I doubt if there's any competent Nigerian website designer that hasn't come across NL before. .I mean where dyu start your SEO from if you don't know the most visited site in Nigeria. . .and then Africa?

all ideals is ok...let talk on the main issues which is fund.
Who is going to spou the project?, first let desire a venue and the cost of d venue

Otherwise, it will just be a group of people hooking up over a beer, imho. I envision something like a trade fair where we all have booths to advertise ourselves, intermingled with speeches and panel discussions every now and then

I was with one of the medical directors at the National Assembly yesterday and as always, he advised me to form Nigerian Website Designers Association. And this thread came to my mind.

I would have gone with ph..... but to rhyme with comments above mine I 'll go with enugu

lagos is said to be the center of commerce so i'll go for lagos.

Winexviv, granted I think that for the very first one, it should hold where there will be maximum exposure (That means Lagos or Abuja), I am willing to go to wherever Boko Haram, MASSOB and MEND will not make me act like a cat - always alert for danger, ears always moving around and never really sleeping
